How reliable are triumphs typically? I’ve always wanted to get a street triple but I’m so hysterically cheap that I’m too afraid to buy anything other than Japanese bikes lol

Triumph is very hard to hate. One of my dream bikes is a Thruxton 🤤🤤🤤

The headlights on this generation of bike are what make it a classic. LOVE my ‘08 😎

Triumph simp here, you will love the bike the speed and street triple handle beautifully for a nakedbike/ streetfighter. The bikes are really flickable until 60 mph and get really planted above 60 to handle fast and long corners💪🏼

As a fellow 08 Speed Triple owner, the headlights make the bike. Regardless of whether or not you keep or flip it, enjoy riding it. I've put almost 40k miles on mine and am thinking about buying another

Before i bought my 05 i wanted to change the headlights to a single one.. but now i absolutely love them and wouldnt change them for anything.

I put eagle lights on mine. They look way cooler than the dull yellowish stock ones.

Absolutely love the headlights, for me it's a reason to buy 😅 I own a 765 RS so I'm fairly biased though.

man they all are sick. i was looking at streetys before my 07 1050 but i rode the 1050 and was like nah ill take the old dog. but regardless 1050's, 675's and 765's are all just badass motors

I have had an R6, Superduke, a Panigale V2 that I still have, and a Vitpilen 401 I still have. My speed triple 1200 RR I ride is the best bike I have ever had by far!

I got two IVs in rn at the emergency room. Got a infection from a long term battle im fighting. Your content and others keeps me fighting and alive, it’s hard to sit here and think I’m gonna be here for this long. But with the vids times flying by 😁

i hated those headlights too when i first saw them, but they have somehow since grown on me and now i genuinly quite like them

I own a speed triple and love it. It's quick and fun. Always liked the naked bikes and café racer style.

Sweet bike! I considered that bike at one point. I was looking at putting a V-Rod headlight on it and clip ons. Can’t beat the price and quality for what you got into it.

Headlights are the best part of it. It's iconic look like 911 Porsche. With any other headlight it looks like any other crashed and fairing removed bike. The twin light look is actually a style they did to diy streetfigters in england during 90's.

I have the last year of the lights! 2010 John Bloor edition. It will never leave my stable. Did powder-coat them black. Took all the chrome and silver off! Love it!

Fantastic bikes. I have had 3 speed triples. On a 2022 1200rs. The headlights are controversial. I never understood people talking about the headlights while riding a Yamaha MT.

This bike is awesome. I had like 20 bikes s1000rr, ducati v4, rsv4, etc etc. For some reason the speed 1050 is always my “most fun to the dollar” bike to go to. I had 3 already, building my fourth now lol

I had a 2011 Triple 1050. That was the first year of the chassis package. Loved that bike.

This is a gorgeous bike. Don’t destroyed it.

Hv a 2012 Speed Triple. It’s an addictive brand. The torque from the 3-cylinder engine is SWEET! Near perfect on the street. U might end up keeping it.

I got an 02 triumph speed four and at first I saw the speed triples and hated the look of the headlight but then I got my speed four and I fell in love with triumph and the dual headlight. It’s an absolute dream to ride! And I now think the dual headlights are bad ass

Super nice bike! I was looking at this bike but an 08 four weeks back, test rode and everything, but settled in on buying an Ducati streetfighter 848 instead.

For as hard as your simping on my bike, Im a lil bummed that you can’t appreciate the classic bug eyed head lights. My 06 has two big LED array replacements that look stock until I hit the brights then they blind oncoming semis w the brightest beams you can imagine. Seriously Ive never driven a cage w brighter headlights. Its super confidence inspiring when riding at night. I might buy other bikes in my life but Ill never sell my Speedy.

Recently looking for one of these from 09 or 10? I actually think it’s the same bike I was looking at on line. 😅. The bug lights are its greatest feature IMO!!

So what’s your thoughts on the latest generation of Street/Speed Triples?!

Oh man. Great choice. I feel like the speed triple isn’t on anyone’s radar until they ride one. I have a 2013 Speed Triple R and it’s the best handling bike I’ve ever owned. I did ditch the headlight for the motodemic single headlight unit and it’s a fantastic bit of kit.

Myself I took a break for about 14 years. I decided about 14 years ago to get another bike, I bought a triple 955i what a bike that was. Now I've got a triple what I bought from new in 17, A 1050s unbelievable that bike is. I love triumph always have done past and present.

I started Diggin em when I rode t595/Daytona!

Got a 2006 17k miles black gold, w shorty fire shooter. I love it, tho I love 200mph bike cause cruise 100 commute is a must this is the only naked I love.

My dad had a 2006 speed. He sold it within a few months tho. He and I much prefer the benelli tornado triple over these. I don't think you guys have them over there in the states but I think they are the best looking sports bikes ever made!

We used to get a few bigger Benelli's in the USA. The importer always seemed to have issues.

I love your videos. I learned a lot of things from you but, sandals with socks? Come on... Don't do it!😂

Another thing I look for is, if they have a stock fender on their bike, good chances they follow traffic laws and probably never beat the bike up.

I personally don't like triumph but I feel I'm allowed to because I'm british and these are everywhere over here. For me its italian or german, austrian bikes all the way. Just my opinion tho - dont mean to hate - ride what you want and enjoy it!👍

Welcome to the club. Try a flyscreen and coat them black. It will transform the look.

I bought a 06 speed triple low miles for 4G. It has the Arrow lowboy, sergeant seat, racetech suspension, aftermarket stator, and aftermarket handle bar. I don’t know of any other bike that you can get so much bang for your buck. Not a single scratch on the thing and rides like a dream. My friends all love riding it and there bikes cost 2 -3 times as much. There’s something special about the 1050.
