When I refurbed the mudguards on my T140V about 10 years ago, I got them painted by a friend in the trade, who gave them both a coat of stone-chip protection on the inside before applying the colour. They are much more durable that way, and are still like new. I also got another friend, who is an old-school signwriter, to freehand the pinstripes to give it a traditional look (mine's a UK model in aquamarine and silver sheen, with black and yellow pinstripes). It looks like that one will be finished to a higher standard than when it left the factory by the time it's done.

Good progress Guys. 4 hands are always beneficial. It takes untold hours to detail away years of road use, but the final result will be the reward. 🌞🏍

Many thanks Mick and indeed it was surprising how much more we achieved with the two of us at it at the same time. Mind you - Greg is a terrier at getting things done!

Nice work on the front end, are you painting the centre and side stand, I think that would just finish it off nicely.
