Triumph Scrambler: the bike that could do it ALL!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hi guys, I’m pleased to share this short video with you, in which I was finally able to take the Scrambler out for a quick rip through some dirt. And man she did not disappoint. Overall a great bike and I’m further convinced that this is the best pound for pound bike out there simply based on it’s do-it-all capability. This was my first time off-pavement on any bike so I know I’m not the best to “test” the Scrambler’s capabilities but I hope to improve as I get more time offroad with her.
Also if you want to connect with me on Instagram and see additional posts of the bike you can find me: @scramblerxc
Enjoy and let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

@@daveo9844 good choice, if it were up to me I would’ve kept the db killers on but unfortunately one of them fell off during riding and the folks at Zard want $140 for the replacement pair 🙂 so I’m forced to be loud and lose my hearing. Lol

Good vid the XC looks really nice with that paint job as I said before ! I have some TKC 80's on my XE, they are a good Off road tire that fare well on road too if you want something a bit meatier.

Hey man!! Yes definitely my original Tourances are done! I managed to get 3,800 miles out of them but honestly I was hitting them pretty hard on the pavement all the time. I wanted to get the TKC80s but then came across the Bridgestone Battlax AX41 which are currently going for $200.00 shipped (the set 😳) at Chaparral Motorsports, and have great reviews and looks!

@@SBKSpecialties I tried to make out what tires you had but couldn't tell. What do you think of the AX41's ?. I have had the TKC's on for only about a 1000 miles. They seem good on road and equally off road. I managed to puncture the rear Tourance after only a couple of thousand miles and then plugged it and ran it for a couple of thousand more. Finally went for the TKC's and haven't been disappointed.

@@svy99n I will let you know as soon as I receive and mount them, apparently they are amazing on/offroad, their only drawback is they’re not incredibly durable in terms of their overall life.

great video, I love my Street Twin [using it more for byways recently] but the larger tank on this & cruise control would be really helpful for the motorway/on road stuff I also need my bike to do. How many KMs do you get to a tank?

  • @SBKSpecialties

Thanks!! I’m glad you liked the vid. I really like the Street Twin but if you’re into byways, and entertaining the idea of longer range trips and maybe greenlaning then the Scrambler is the answer. It is just such a capable and powerful beast! So, I’m not the greatest person to ask for fuel consumption for two reasons: my riding habits and the fact I’ve done header, exhaust, intake filter and haven’t tuned the bike properly so I’m getting 100-115 miles per tank (30-31mpg). I believe that is approximately 161kms per tank! Not great. If you want we can connect through Instagram (@scramblerxc)

@@SBKSpecialties Thanks, its becoming more of an interest. I found a old Map of my local area in my cupboard & discovered theres so much to do nearby while we can't leave ect... The bonneville engine is lovely i've done some great trips already but the 300 miles to the Lake District does get boring just holding the throttle open & stopping every 140 miles. Although by the sounds of it you don't get much more than me. Brilliant I'll find you on Insta now thanks
