After placing 2nd to Aaron Zang in the £1,050,000 No-Limit Hold'em - Triton Million for Charity Event, Kenney received the largest single payout in live poker tournament history of £16,890,509 ($20,563,324).[6] The tournament had the largest scheduled single payout in poker tournament history with first place receiving £19,000,000 ($23,100,000). However, due to a prize splitting deal agreed with Zang, Kenney ended up receiving £16,890,509 ($20,563,324) for 2nd while Zang received the smaller prize of £13,779,491 ($16,775,820) for winning the tournament. The deal was made when the tournament entered heads up with Kenney holding an over 5:1 chip lead against Zang. Zang made a comeback and eventually won the tournament

I feel like what this entire tournament showed, is that although you can definitely bluff and bully more amateur players off their equity, when it comes down to it, amateurs who know the game have a chance at still winning. Whilst the crushers obviously have a good edge, it is just an edge. And an edge becomes more apparent in online play with 10 tournaments open. Mind you both Aaron and Kenney caught quite a bit of luck on that FT. And Rajkumar got consistently unlucky. Aces not only twice on a final table. But what seemed to be in fairly quick succession (I don’t know how many hands that were too boring were edited out if any)

That's how heads up goes some times. I remember watching a game where someone came back from 7 to 1. They were the worse player but it doesn't take much variance in once session to pull of a lucky win.

I enjoy the content of this channel, been subscribed for awhile. But the recent inclusion of ads, has really taken much of the joy of watching this channel. I mean you guys are hosting the biggest buy in tournaments, and then also trying to generate ad money. Its like im rich, but I need to get richer not cool.
