Welcome to drum class! Today we are going to look in depth at the theory behind triplets. I will show you tablature of triplets, and get you started practicing them. Then, we will go through some common drum beats and drum fills that use triplets, mixing them in with what we already know from previous videos. I use Groove Scribe, which is a free online resource. My drum kit is a Roland TD-27.
I recommend starting to play beats as slow as 30 BPM. This might sound slow, but it´s usually where I start things.
