Kamal sir only do method acting for aalavandhan movie bro I think he is the only actor who follow method acting in India But overall he is not a method actor

No other actor frm india or probably in the world would even come close with so much versatility to showcase in so many diff roles and experiments out of the box fr decades. But Unfortunately our govt yet to confer padma vibhushan or dadasaheb phalke or bharath ratna award to this living legend "Master of many arts".Such a Pity that it is already awarded to the less deserving..French govt has recognised his talent nd contribution and conferred him "Chevalier de L'Ordre Arts et Lettres" award. Like all say, Hollywood is where he should have been..Imagine if quarantine tarantino is getting inspired frm a scene in Kamal Sir Ji movie nd implementing it in his own movie, simply shows that he is a class apart. The last one which you saw was marudhanayagam, which was initially planned in 1997 with a budget of 90C ( now 700 c aprx), with the movie inaugrated by queen elizabeth who came to chennai and a 10 minute scene was specially shown to her which cost 8 Crore at that time. The movie would be one of the best movie in the WORLD if it was made but due to financial crisis with British company (not sure), during making of the film, the film had to be dropped. It was the dream film of Kamal sir. Still many production companies like to put money to bring back the movie to life but kamal stated it is not easy to continue a film after almost 13 yrs.
