TRIBAL LIFE OF TAI KHAMTI in INDIA - Arunachal Pradesh | NORTHEAST INDIA [Ep. 1] 🇮🇳

ALL ARUNACHAL PRADESH, INDIA VIDEOS: bit.ly/2QTrkkQ
On my very first stop in Arunachal Pradesh, I got to stay in the Manna village of the Tai Khamti tribes. The first couple of nights, I got sick from food poisoning while I was still in Assam. However, as the day progressed, I was shown how to make Paasa, Tai Khamti's most popular fish soup. The fish soup is known to be used by the warrior during wartime for their strength.

ABOUT ME:
In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveler and KZread creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries. My content focuses on exploring different cultures through the lens of a solo female traveler, aiming to capture real-life interactions and experiences.
My travels kicked off with a five-month trip across Asia, after which I moved to China in January 2017 to work as an English teacher-my first time living abroad. I left China in 2018 to fully commit to creating videos on KZread, where I share my travels and the cultures I encounter.
Living nomadically since 2016, I settled in England in early 2022 after marrying my British husband, David. Now based in the UK, I continue to travel and share my adventures on KZread.

Hello everyone, I hope you and your loved ones are doing well and remain calm during this uncertain time. This is the very first video from the Arunachal Pradesh series, a semi-documentary approach, that I put so much work into. Let me know what you think of this video as your feedback means a lot to me! I went to Arunachal in February and left by early March, so this is a pre-recorded content. I am now back in my apartment in Kathmandu, Nepal and will focus on editing. Let's try to be positive as we can only accept our current situation and not worrying too much about the unknown. Sending positive thoughts to you and your loved ones!

I didn't know that some of the cultural elements are so similar to the Assamese like I heard the ladies speaking Assamese at some point, they were using Gamusa, plus the ritual for the sick was similar to our ritual that we call Mukh-Bhonga. Its was so informative... Long live the brotherhood between Assam and Arunachal.

I love to see my home town places. I suggest you visit Guwahati, Sivsagar, Jorhat, Dibrugarh. Kaziranga (Part of Assam state) which is my home state I am sure you will love to explore the places (however be safe since the virus outbreak everyone is freaking out when they meet a foreigner). Please always keeps the same enthusiasm and same energy with the beautiful smile :). I love the way you vlog and show the places. Honestly speaking I am following you from last one year only when I first saw your vlog to Nepal. Lastly Love you!!! keep up the good work. I hope one day got a chance to meet you.

*All the Tai origin group living in India should help and extend their mutual support to each other so as to strengthen the "Tai-Brotherhood" and make Tai characteristics intact whether Racial, Ethnicity, Mongoloid, genetically similar physical characteristics. All Tai groups like Khamti, Ahom, Aiton, Faake, Turung, Khamyang, Lai etc. should increase and encourage their inter group cultural exchange & participation in Marriage, Ethnic Festivals, Languages, Ethnic Costumes, Religious sphere, Indigenous or Traditional beliefs🐉 etc. It's high time to realised what's happening around in other parts of India. Many ethnic/tribal group has already started losing their ethnic identity from the so called main lander (brahmanical) politico-religious-cultural dominance over other smaller ethnic/tribal groups. It's also important for all Tai groups in India to make good relationship with other Tai people inhabiting countries like China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam to increase cultural exchange. And there's something to learn from the Jewish of Israel, Japanese society and Native Americans. Always remember, Assimilation always leads to extinction, where big cultures slowly eat the smaller ones. Rather try to promote Integration (mentioned in the Indian Constitution) where you can thrive, sustain yourselves and live your life with pride, dignity and honour. Be united and protect your identities.* #Realisation #ReviveToSurvive #TaiBrotherhood 🐉☯️

It's your greatness that you own community so gracefully whenever you go whatever they belongs by culture, language it seems does not matter for you. We could literally show you loving by the people. that's the most beautiful part of the journey which keeps us the memory last. The toughest moment you would feel when the time comes to say bye them because there is almost no chance of meet agian that moment and people. We also feel same emotion from your traveling. I enjoyed watching this video and love the people of arunachal which i always wanted to know.
