He asked simply, "Will the complaints be made public?" to which she refused to even address with a simple yes or no. Neither did she have an answer as to if it was possible for them to choose which ones are made public or not. It's the same political speak nonsense that he was trying to question around and she just gave the equivalent answer of some general project goals from a PowerPoint presentation on the meeting about it. All she had to say was yes we can do that or no we can't and explain why or not. She could have said I don't know but we'll look into it. Instead she just wanted to sound pompous with her look how hard we are working political speak. It's nonsense when you boil it down. She avoided every question and avoided responsibility saying she didn't want to pop-off the hip on something.

@@adamgreen9548 You may be giving her the benefit of the doubt that she is trying to answer the questions but I disagree. To me it isn't hard to simply answer with clear responses to that type of questioning. She knows time is limited and she doesn't want to get pinned down on any answer for whatever reason good or bad. She could maintain all credibility and respect by simply saying something to the effect of "We can make some public and some private" or "We don't have a plan for that yet but we will absolutely address the issue and report back at a later date". Questions where he asks does she believe that consumers should be educated and the responsibilities around that aren't hard to answer. She can say simply and clearly yes consumers need to be educated and we'll work to provide them with the best materials for them to be able to make the best judgments for themselves or something similar to that. Instead she just goes on and on with answers that sound more like platitudes. This is one of the reasons why nothing gets done in Washington. No one will answer any questions honestly and openly. lol

It is funny how she attacks anyone not answering her questions, but refuses answering them in unequivocal terms.

She must have been schooled the Media's University of the "Art of Saying Nothing" same as Hillary.

The VP is president of the Senate, can only vote to break a 50/50 split. Moving him to that position would limit what he can do. In the Congress he can vote more often and do more good where he is.

Adam Green there’s a difference between an open ended question (what do you want for your birthday) and a closed probe question (are you excited for your birthday) and even you should know that. He asked closed probe question where a simple yes or no could suffice and what Pocahontas did was babble her way through the time limit because that’s what slimy politicians do. But you didn’t see that, did you? You probably voted or would vote for her, wouldn’t you? Keep trying to cross oceans for a politician who wouldn’t even jump a puddle for you.

I have two points: I don't think her teacher in her Elementary School taught her those two terms in English for affirmative and negative, i.e. yes, or no. Maybe, they need to send her away on a course to get acquainted with those two concepts- I'm quite sure the Beloved Tax payers wouldn't mind forking out. 2. When she kept starting her answer with "Congressman" she reminded me of Mark Zukerburg and the way he was unable to give a definite answer, and always responded with, "Congressman".

No wonder government never accomplishes anything (Pathetic) !

I have seen her being questioned before by Gowdy and she will never really answer the question, I don't get her at all!!

She may be corrupt but she is actually right in this case. The interpretation of any law isn't decided by one person but the judges decisions of each case. Since there had yet to be a case with this law, there was no interpretation yet. She is in no position to use her own opinion to interpret the law. There is way she could have answered with a yes or no.

And people wander why it took the government five years and over 2 million dollars to build a bathroom in a park in New York City that is 25 feet by 25 ft with one toilet three urinals and one sink and that's it. A very small building, and yet the private company who worked on a similar bathroom just a few miles away at a park that was not maintained by the government build a bathroom that was amazingly beautiful looking, considerably larger, and the total cost unsaid privately-funded and constructed bathroom came out to just over $165,000, and took 10 months to build!!! This is what happens when the government gets its tentacles involved in everything that it should not be involved with in the first place, also known as big government! They bringing more regulations in any small business or medium sized business owner could ever hope to follow easily charge insanely high and exorbitant costs to the business owner, and like a lot of companies is it well for the last 25 years prior to Barack Obama being elected in passing Obamacare along with hundreds of other useless expensive unnecessary bills these companies are going bankrupt left and right. And any person who tells you that Obamacare is good for Americans is either too stupid, too young, or two and extremes and being an entrepreneur and running a company. When your profit margins are already small to begin with and then the government imposes countless fines fees regulations ordinances Etc down your throat in the form of things like Obamacare which one to give a kid at Subway 19 years of age working at a low-cost minimum wage job health care provided by his employer that cost over $1,000 a month if he's lucky and then you multiply that by 30 40 50 60 workers not only is there no profit to be made leftover, but now the company starts taking on mountains of debt and eventually goes bankrupt. I know this because I have common sense. despite that I do work on Wall Street I do buy and sell the biggest public companies on the planet on a daily basis, and when you do what I do for a living you learn about how the world really works at least the business world and the political world I simply cannot get over how unbelievably stupid the American public is for voting for that idiot not once but twice in the Oval Office the liberal parties of Democrats have ruined every city they managed for any length of time and are a Cancer and a giant mental disease also known as liberalism.

When Warren says that she wants to give a shout out to 5 credit card companies that are working with the CFPB, by "working with", does she mean that they have given her either personal donations or donations to her campaign? Elizabeth Warren--really good at side-stepping and not giving a yes or no answer to any question. "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is."

Lawyers never answer a question directly with yes or no. I wonder why.

Why didn't her parents choose ROE V. WADE, and save us all from her IGNORANCE?

If she weren’t being tactful, she’d have retorted, ‘why are you afraid of banks getting online reviews like any common Amazon merchant - don’t want to scare off any donors on Wall Street, Trey? And why don’t you know the Congressional Act your using to try and support your flimsy argument? Slacking off on your research? @@Misaka_Complex I don't know if we're ever going to see the Clinton Foundation get investigated. They won't even get 20 minutes into the investigation then we'll find out about where the Russian collusion actually was going on and then they will find a reason to disband all investigators. They will more than likely say that Hillary and Bill's civil rights are being infringed upon their privacy is being invaded and other claims that can easily be made when one is being investigated and therefore all investigators will have to back off because after all they are the clintons that we are all supposed to love so much. PMSL I like how Google speech to text does not capitalize the C in clinton.

+matthew cox We do know that there were several factors such as Comey's FBI preventing the Clintons from being incriminated despite breaking the law, but we also know that President Trump has taken measures to expose and remove these corrupted elements from the FBI and now he's working on the DOJ exposing Bruce Ohr and their violations of their own procedures. Trump is going to need time to defuse this corruption of the Swamp, meaning that if he manages to retain the senate, the house, and the presidential seat it will very much likely happen by 2020.

It doesn't work that way if the questions are loaded. To be clear about something explanations are given and both parties must understand and be able to express to the others satisfaction before a yes no answer can be achieved. but yeah sum it up lady.

I've worked with women like this, find a wall and headbutt it, you will get more out of it

I just wanted Trey Gowdy to ask questions to Dr. Ford last week during Mr. Brett Cavangh confirmation hearings. I would have loved to ask Dr. Ford questions last week myself. The main question I would have loved to ask her ( Did Judge Brett Cavangh penitrate her during this so called sexual encounters. That would have been an yes or no question. Sen. Trey Gowdy should have been the one asking the questions. Amen.

This is why politicians and public administration drives me crazy. They can never answer any questions even yes or no questions without deflecting and deliberately not answering because of their political future or to not being blamed.

And she wants to be our next President??? Can't even answer a question. The debates are going to be comical.
