Yep. His teaching always was and still is a gift for all of us. Sure miss those short clinics he would put on during the breaks on the tournaments for TV.

I watched Lee win the US Open in '68 and I couldn't have been more shocked. Everyone was waiting for him to collapse and he never flinched a bit.

I was lucky to have seen Lee Trevino at TPC Sawgrass Jacksonville Fla with all the Greats of the time. Talking about Hubert Green my ears perked up, got to talk to him a few years back before he passed away from cancer. By chance he lived next door to a friend of mine so he didn't mind talking a bit. I do know Hubert Green was a guy that gave out scholarships to the folks working at the Golf Club in Panama City Beach.

Me again. What Mr. Trevino is speaking to is our human natural ability to do this natural golf swing. A rather natural full body movement easy-sneezey from the feet on-up with a steady-head throughout.

No one ever in the history of the game has meant more to me than Mr. Trevino. He is just an amazing person and an absolute encyclopedia of golf shotmaking. Love it!

In the video, Mr. Trevino mentioned he would talk about his new clubs that got him excited about playing more, but it's not on your video. Did you record that info?

I'd like to know that myself. Many years ago (1974) at our PGA event in New Orleans I got a peek at his bag when Herman Mitchell put it down in front of me. He had a Wilson 8813 putter, Mostly Golden Ram irons - except he had a PING 1-iron and a Wilson Betty Hicks wedge. He also gamed Hogan Apex short irons and wedge. Didn't get to see his woods as he had head covers on them. By the way, he won the tournament at 21 under.

Love Trevino, but that lesson will ruin the common golfer's swing!
