I've finally made this cake after months of procrastinating. It's everything that Emma describes it to be! The cake is airy soft, and the milk bath gives it this lovely creamy texture. I used blueberries and raspberries for decorations to balance the milky flavours with some acidity. The family fell in love with it. Can't wait to try more of Emma's recipes!

Hello, in Mexico at three milks we prepare it with condensed milk, half cream (media crema)and (carnation) evaporated milk, with a touch of vanilla, greetings

Is it okay to do it without an electric mixer and a normal whisk instead?

I tried making homemade tres leches cake for the first time today using this recipe. I used a mixture of cream, low fat condensed milk and 1% milk since that was what I could get my hands on. I have to say, it was extremely good. I could definitely taste the vanilla and the texture after soaking it for one hour reminded me a bit of bread pudding, but spongier. All in all, I'm definitely saving this one and I can't wait to try the chocolate version.

I have made this today, surprisingly without the milk bath, the cake itself was so fluffy and delicious, probably the best sponge cake i have ever had. Then after i added the milk bath, it's heaven! Thank you emma 😊

Emma the moment I saw your recipe I knew I had to try it.I m happy to report I made this cake and its probably the best cake I ve tasted so far!!! The recipe is different from other tres leches recipes I've seen and yet its one of the best! Unfortunately looks like a lot of people have already copied this recipe and posted videos recently. Nevertheless I share this recipe and your channel to all freinds and family who asked me about the cake after seeing the pictures I posted. Wish you lot more success!

Hi Luis! Yes I decided to take mine out of the baking tray as I prefer it this way, but I think the traditional one is served directly in the tray with the excess milk. Thank you SO MUCH! 😍❤😍

Wow this looks so simple & delicious...i was curious if u have a recipe for a vegan version of this just as simple? I'm gonna use this recipe but I'm gonna use coconut milk, almond milk, and soy milk with coconut sugar added to the milk bath mixture. When I bake cakes I use mashed banana or applesauce for the egg replacement and it always works perfectly, so I'm wondering how it would work with this recipe? Rum is also delicious added to the milk mixture 😍 I love mango and peaches with the tres leches cakes.

I've always been interested in the Tres Leches Cake. I do intend to give it a try sometime.

I just soaked my cake and put it in the refrigerator. I'll do the Whipping cream part at night and cake will be served after dinner 🍽 I'm so excited 😍 I used Evaporated milk instead of normal milk
