On a dollar store visit during this project, the cashier asked if I was having an office party or something? I had a strange mix of party supplies and staplers/pencil sharpeners. I had a very difficult time explaining that it was a party just for me and what I was going to turn this mess of stuff into.

Studson will always be king for one reason in particular: He spends as much time editing the gags in his video as he does actually building his models... which is insane.

The editing, puzzle solving, humor, and creativity in this video is bonkers. I've made model kits for years and never knew anything like this was possible, let alone realistic

I’m here to thank you for the phrase “free weathering” I have been trying to make an old weathered journal recently and it has helped me remember that’s it’s all okay when I keep accidentally ripping the corners or crumpling the pages or when the tea bag just opened and got all the chunky bits all over the paper as I was trying to stain it It’s all for the aesthetic in the end baby Thank you

i love that the version of the elephant that is playing in the background is played by higher-pitched woodwind instruments. makes me giggle every time i come back to this video

Dude, for the work of figuring out how to build each part + the work of finding/making each piece + the work of assembling + the work of recording the video + the work of editing the video... this deserves MUCH more than 1 million views.

@@iguessmynamesriya7658 3D printing. You make a 3D model on your computer and then a machine spits plastic out of a nozzle and makes whatever your model is. It’s a really handy tool for building models and such! Though I agree with the original commenter, the magic of this type of model building is using what people call “junk vision” to make some amazing stuff out of already available materials!

For those that skimmed through the description: this amazing piece took 2 months to make. I'm about 5 minutes away from completing my work for the day, and I took an unexpected 37 minute break BEFORE that to watch this. I didn't expect myself to sit through the whole thing, but... DAAAYUM! Glad I did.

Apart from the insane ingenuity and the awesome looking result, the editing of this video is also very impressive, the cuts are extremely clean and some of these shots are really impressive and creative! Just all around an excellent video that's very pleasant to watch.

Jesus Christ this is insane. How everything came to be so cohesive and intentional-looking is such a feat here. Excellent work!
