A lot of customers don’t realize how much brush is in a tree until it hits the ground. A lot of things effect the price in my area, like if I’ve got to haul it off or chip it and not all big wood is useable for fire wood 🪵 sometimes. Liability is another factor when a tree is close to the house or other things. Stumps are usually extra. Nice job on the birch 🌳 Tree work is hard work but I can truly say I love it! Much respect to all the tree guys out there getting it done! 👍🏻✌🏻

Another technique that can come in handy is cinching your climb line around the trunk and advancing it up with your lanyard if ascending on spurs. That way if you do gaff out or slip the climb line will tighten and prevent you from sliding down the trunk. There’s also ways you can do something similar with just a lanyard.

The sawzall video to remove a stump was good. Probably great for you business as it’s a homeowners aesthetic fix. But the roots will remain and will forever be a problem because that space can’t be utilized for growing other plants over. There is an insanely easy cheap way to get rid of a stump and ALL OF ITS ROOTS til kingdom come. How has nobody in your industry capitalized on it or figured it out.

Man I'm all for making a quick buck and people have the choice to choose if they want to take your quote too, but it seems like Noone realizes the value in building relationships and references so their businesses carry on forever anymore, this tree would've taken me an hour to cut into log sized chunks that would've sold for around $400-500 in firewood and $1000 would've been a perfectly fine wage... but like I said they can pay whatever they choose

I know eh! It's always bigger in real life. Looks like 25 to 30 feet high Seriously though since I got an extended Stihl pole pruner I can cut tall branchy trees down like never before. 20 to 30 feet tall np. The only way it works is when combined with an aluminum scaffold because I can get the angle just right. (Well most of the time anyways) It's much safer then climbing, especially a risky birch.
