@@youseff21 - I did a number of things. • I saw an Ears, Nose, and Throat specialist who treated a severe allergy infection caused by the virus • I did 18 months of Smell Therapy, as described in this video • I changed my diet and avoided high gluten, corn syrup, and highly processed foods • Many vitamins and supplements, such as Zinc, that are recommended by doctors • I used Colloidal Sliver Nasal Spray 30ppm that included Eucalyptus in the ingredients • Exercise, Yoga, Tai Chi • I bought an Air Purifier for our bedroom • Meditation (Mentally remembering what things smelled like) It was a slow process. I noticed a big difference with the Specialist treatment and Smell Therapy. I tried everything else, looking for something that would work. I believe that all contributed to me finally getting cured of this three-year nightmare.

I started experiencing parosmia in my mid twenties. It was twice a year for many years, then it would happen after every cold. Then a few years ago it became more prevalent. Then, when I had covid-19, it became all the time. Since then, it is all through the day and night, though not always every second. It seems worse when I have stress. I had Covid two years ago, so I doubt it is going to ever be very good again.

So sorry to hear that. I've just lost my senses of smell and taste yesterday after getting the C virus. My husband couldn't understand why this is such a big deal for me and why I'm stressed out about my situation. He keeps saying my senses are going to come back soon, but nobody knows for sure. People who have not been suffering from these conditions are not able to relate or empathize with us, thus maybe why divorce was the outcome for some couples.

I've been dealing with this for well over a year now and at first it was only a couple things like salsa or marinara sauce over time it has progressed and become much worse, about 2 months ago i started noticing meats tasting and smelling bad, and at this point now it's almost everything to the point that I can only eat soup, rice, uncooked bread. I just ordered a Diffuser kit off Amazon that I should recieve tomorrow and I have started using saline up my nose. I need this to be over with, I just want to taste and smell again and be able to enjoy life. This has started affecting my attitude and mind set. Today I tried some pizza and the sauce tasted like fish sauce (best way I can describe it) most things have a rubbery metallic taste/smell now.

It is an incredible feeling when your brain suddenly starts discovering old smells that I thought were gone for good.I do smell training 3 times per day. Don’t give up and be consistent with the training. The smelling capacity is worst in the morning for me but as the day goes by it gets better and better. Feels like I am getting my life and enthusiasm back after all these years. I wish you recovery!

Try Shadbindu oil in nose regularly for 30 days the best way to recover from this scary parosmia. And if you are still struggling then try eating food cooked in mustard oil or try to have different pickles with your regular food it will trick your olfactory senses. Thank me later.

It’s been almost 2 years. When I got Covid I had lost my smell and taste COMPLETELY. Like whatever helped me smell and taste things was absolutely fried. Life is miserable without chocolate. Without milk. Without meat. Everything tastes like 💩

I loss my smell in October 2021, a couple of days after having the first part of vaccine. It's been over 2 years, and I still can't smell. I didn't have the 2nd shot because of this. Just had a CT scan on sinus area, and it didn't show anything. I had covid 19 in December 2021 . I'm going to see a ear nose and throat soon. Hopefully I'll be able to get something done.

On November 2020 I probably got that omicron variant I have slight improvement these last months it is March 2023. In case I do not recover 100% I want this dealt legally against anyone responsible. Whoever is on the same train please contact me. I am a Chef and this thing is messing with my job. Let alone the psychological turmoil of not being able to smell anything!!
