    Put the gear in the freezer for about 2 hours, and before you install the bearings, warm the bearing up in your hands for a few minutes. They should slide right on.

    Hmmm. So I recieved every upgrade your doing here, for my own self > and I have not had to sand smooth a single bearing location on a shaft yet. Perhaps they have listened to you? I can only think they have. In your one closeup you have splines on your heli gears > I do not and they fit perfet. Its bittersweet that I had to watch you grind, but not had to do so myself.😔 I have faith in Injora; anyone that includes extra grub screws and wheel bolts and axle pins and many extra SS hex bolts must really care about this hobby.

    Hey! I've just picked up the Alu axle housings with the laydown servo mount. I'm hoping that the front axle will be compatible with the "non universal" Injora LCG carbon chassis with the 5 deg angle. Any reason to think it won't work? I run the Injora 11kg servo...

  • @rcfungames

    @rcfungames

    5 ай бұрын

    Hey bro, I have seen quite a few people say it works with that chassis. I haven't tried it yet, so I can't say to you that it does or it doesn't. I've got a set of those axles and I will fit them to the Bronco or the defender to see if it works with the non-universal lcg carbon fiber chassis. But I'm still waiting on the axle shafts that I took out to use on the diamond axles. Hopefully they will be here soon. I'm sorry I can't tell you yes or no but I have heard people say like I mentioned that it works. The only difference between the new Universal chassis and the old lcg chassis, is that they've made the rails sit a couple of millimeters further apart and then use adapters for the bumpers to fit. Which gives you more space for the lay down Servo setup. And from what I have observed on my latest build with the lay down service setup and the universal chassis is that there's just enough space for the setup. So in my opinion I do believe it's going to be a tight fit on the old LCG chassis. Hope that helps bro

    Do you lubricate the CVs in knuckle housing?

  • @rcfungames

    @rcfungames

    Ай бұрын

    Bro the only reason I don't recommend that is because when running in dust and sand it will just collect on the CV joint causing more damage than good. If you run a lot on rocks and water then yes you could put a bit of grease in there. But where I live everything is dry and Dusty and would just get in and the sand would just grind away the metal.

    Does this skid plate catch on things bad?

  • @rcfungames

    @rcfungames

    Жыл бұрын

    It doesn't help as the axles already very low, but I drive on really Rocky and rough terrain, so just to protect the aluminum Axel's I thought it was worth it. But it's basically got the same clearance it had with the original tires. And in my opinion that haven't been too bad they were designed quite well, and I just gave them a slight bend upwards to prevent them catching as much.

    Indeed you are right you have to make sure the drive shafts are in phase and axle shafts are also in phase! This was before they actually made them in phase and was difficult to get them aligned. But since then Injora has done a great job making sure the whole drivetrain if assembled properly is in phase. Thank you so much for watching and commenting.

    And you do realize this is not a real car, it goes roughly 2 kilometers an hour So you're not really going to get any vibrations from the drive-lines not being phased 🤣 If it was at fast RC car I could understand it being a problem Anyway just too point it out you do realize that's all the wheels are off balance, amongst many more running parts so it could never be a vibration free. Lol 🤣🤣🤣 But on this tiny crawler at the speed it runs you are never going to notice it 🤣🤣🤣

    @@rcfungames I hope my new ones are good. The problem with mine was that they were machined in such a way that made it impossible to fit the 2 halves together in-phase.
