Hi bro, and yeah man definitely some cool upgrades! That's exactly why I started making these videos is because besides their not being any instructions!! There are lots of small issues a person runs into with these products. So I thought I might as well start making some in detail videos helping new people to the Hobby. I'm glad you like the content! I will keep trying to bring content like this. It just takes a long time to do these videos, but with all the feedback I've had over last year it's definitely worth it! Hi again! Amazing build! While waiting for those upgrade parts for the Ranger and K10 that you recommended, my son just saw a Bronco of one of his friends. I was thinking if we can build one from zero. Is there any full list of parts that we need for the build? I was thinking Injora. Maybe he will enjoy for us to build it ourselves. Hi bro, sorry for the late reply. And thank you this was one of my first trx4m that I started upgrading. And it has been a while since I have done anything to it! So I thought it's time for me to finish the custom look I wanted. I think that's a great idea, the best way to get to know these trucks is to build one from scratch. The only thing you going to have to acquire from someone else is the Bronco body. Besides that you can get everything from Injora for your build Depending on which type of axles you want to use, will determine which chassis you should use. If you want to use the lay down Servo setup, I recommend grabbing a universal lcg chassis for your build. @@rcfungames Hi Ryan! I hope you’re feeling better. Thank you so much for all the advices. This week we should get the Injora parts for the K10 and the Ranger. I went with the one you recommended. The universal chassis, the diamond axles +4mm, rims, tires and super soft inserts, high ground clearance set, 53 shocks, skid and battery plates, bumpers and a set of lights. So that will make kind of a build from scratch these two. Of course, we will keep the srt dth-06 servo, the original motor and esc. And now I saw that aliexpress trunk plate. Maybe I will give it a try. I decided to upgrade/build these two first and after that we will get to the Bronco full build, including servo, motor and esc. Unfortunately, I cannot find that motor/esc/controller set and neither the 11kg servo. I will keep searching. I’ll be in UK this Summer. Maybe I can get them there. Regarding facebook, unfortunately I closed mine almost 15 years ago. I only have an insta account for my photography projects. So we will stay in touch and I will get back to you soon letting you know about the chevy and ford upgrade/build. Your videos will help us a lot. God bless you for that! 🙏

Great video Ryan! I am waiting for the exact same parts to arrive. (Except for bearings) What grit sand paper and what grease do you use? I’m anticipating having to sand the gears.

Thanks so much bro 👍👍 I used what I had around the house it's a very funny sandpaper and it says 180p you can see in the video it is a very fine sandpaper, for Greece I'm using a Castrol high temperature Grease, also what I have lying around the house 😅 but it's has worked really well on my Traxxas TRX4. I really appreciate the positive feedback and view 🤜💥🤛

The hi country and ford use different drive shafts than the bronco and defender there longer, starting to wonder if all these parts are different

Yes I have double checked and I have done lots of measurements and the parts are slightly different. But really very slightly!!!

@@rcfungames the castor blocks work steering linkage works,rear end covers also,some say the transmission for the bronco and defender won’t fit the hi country,that I don’t know

I thought they were all interchangeable

I think you could've fit the 7mm hex extensions with those extended axles. The 6mm fit perfect on the stock axles.

That's funny when I fitted them to the original axles the nuts come lose as they could not get a bite on the nylon, but then yours must be different. Lol

I did upgrades to my high country ,now both front axels are binding,it seems the drive pins are binding in the hub assembly,I have to take the pins out of wheel hex,that gives me 2 Wheel Drive on the back only ,so I orderd an upgraded axels with bearings not bushings,no sure what’s going on, only had it since Christmas,cheers

That's not good! Don't worry I also had some very funny issues with my High Trails axles!! I only did the videos with it and I was extremely careful and for some reason after fitting my high clearance links both axles decided to fail during the video!! The ring and pinion gives just decided to slip for absolutely no reason when at full articulation!! I've got to say the original CVS and bushings really are a let down! It will be awesome once you fit the new axles!! And definitely the most cost-effective way to upgrade! 😉💯

Are the Injora transmissions fully assembled

@@rickbarg3980 yes if you buy the complete kit, it's all assembled. But in my experience I would definitely open it up and grease all the gears! You've got fully assembled transmissions depending on what gearing you want make sure you pick the right one. Next time throw the bearings in the freezer and heat the part they need to go onto. Works like a charm

I've worked as a mechanic most of my life and I've never heard of putting the bearing in the freezer and heating up the shaft you want to put it on!! That would do exactly the opposite effect!! When you heat up metal it expands when you cool down metal it shrinks, so I'm pretty sure it's meant to be the way I did in the video which is freeze the shaft and heat the bearing. But what do I know I've only been doing mechanical work for 30 years of my life 😅

You would think so, but the Injora bearing kit, gave me the same problems as the Traxxas bearing kit, actually it was probably a bit worse with the Traxxas bearings
