Traxxas TRX-6 Flatbed Hauler + Rocks + Water = Can It Survive?

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The new Traxxas TRX-6 Flatbed Hauler is a mighty street machine, but what if you take it where rock crawlers/trail trucks like the TRX-4 and TRX-4 Sport fear to tread? Will it survive? The GTA RC Crawlers group found out after three-plus hours of the roughest, meanest trails around. Rocks, water, roots, dirt, hills.....SPOILER: An ESC upgrade suited to smooth, low-speed torque would help, but it did just great. Very impressive.

I don’t know why, but I really want one of those haulers. And I do want to use it to go crawling with and trailing but I’d also like to make the suspension go down more for more reach.

I can fully understand why people want one of these. Whenever we have one (or more) at one of our group trail runs it ups the fun a lot. They're great for pulling out stuck rigs and even carrying them home if it comes to that. And they can hang with the regular trucks as long as it's not comp-level technical. Your final point is a good one -- I have yet to see someone do a complete Kamaz worthy makeover into a dedicated off-roader, starting with a suspension reboot. That would be wicked. Thanks for the watch, the comment, and subscribing.

Thanks, Monica. I'm enjoying your videos too, and with such lovely spring weather who wouldn't want to be outside in the woods eh?

Many many thanks, Maxee. Usually I can bang out one of these videos in a hour, but this one took all day to edit, and get right. You know what I'm talking about.

Hi from England! Just got a hauler myself and saw your video. It did surprisingly well. Loved the orange to yellow paint job on one of the 4x4s, really stood out. All of them were great trucks though. Looked a great day out 😊

Hello from across the pond, carlb. We have a few guys now that come out these days with the big trucks, and they always add to the fun of a group trail run. Half the time they return back to the parking lot carrying somebody's broken 4x4 on the back. I'm very fortunate to have a great group of RC friends who meet up every weekend without fail (sometimes twice) and who aren't afraid to brave the iconic Canadian wilderness, which can be twice as daunting for people on foot as it can for tiny trucks. Cheers eh!

@@NaturallyRCyou are so lucky to have such a wonderful group of people. I'm in a lonely outpost, got a channel but no regular meetups. I like modified trucks, and it's so rare they I get to meet people. Take care and know you made someone smile for quite a bit 👍🍺🇬🇧

I had seen one of these do some pretty good climbs at the indoor course at the local hobby shop, that long wheelbase can come in handy but you gotta watch out for the high centering! Nice run with all those other rigs ( I like the Roc Hobby 1/6 Jeep!)

You nailed it re the Hauler. Mega traction as seen going up Cookie Monster at the end -- a hill so steep you can easily reverse endo at any time. I am proud of the way my little Creep gives the big dog a tap when he's high centered, at around 5:00, and merrily off he goes. Cheers and thanks.
