I’m a big rig freak and operate a twin steer concrete truck for a living so this is a must have for me 👍🏻

This is going to be my intro into scale crawling. I drive big trucks and play a lot of Snow Runner so this will be perfect for me.

Just when I think I won't buy another traxxas, they come out with this beast.

Yeah they sure are awesome, specially with all the lights at night, love my night runs. What a beautiful rig, appreciate you sharing I’ll be following for more 👍👍😎

Nice job on the video. Finally Traxxas isn’t over charging for one of their vehicles. It always seems like you are just paying for the name. Look forward to what’s you come out with for this build. I’ve always been a big fan of your stuff, people keep trying to buy my F450.

I hope they release a clear body soon, or the aftermarket does. When I worked for Sunbelt Rentals I drove a tandem axle rollback, I'd love to replicate 'ol Pickle.

Keep the trailer! There a RX hitch under the back bumper. Carry and tow!

It’s a cool rig, no doubt, but it should have a functional deck for the money,

IMO they missed the mark by not making the bed tilt. If I'm going to haul my RC around for realism, i think being able to load and unload without the magic god hand is required.

excellent unboxing review, i really like the size and black chrome. the two big disappointments are the body clip holes and the sticker front grill but i am still definitely getting one

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I totally agree. I know some magnetic mounts are in the works as well as different grill options. Ill be working on some machined parts for this truck: Headache rack, then scale front and rear bumpers.

I own the trx6 snap-on hauler and I pre order two ultimate hauler so I can put my snap-on hauler back in the box

There’s has to be a way of trimming those rails that stick up on the bed and putting some kind of extensions on the sides right? To make it wide enough for a crawler?

That’s on my very short list. Digging in this week. 1/2” on either side would do the trick.

Most flatbed tow trucks do not have rails on the bed for obvious reasons. I would just remove them cuz it is still scale.

I have a cen 450 with an extendable boom and wheel lift. Not as pretty as yours. I also have a umg10 thats streched and has a functional rollback bed and winch. It has a 450 cab cut down to a 2door. All functional from remote

Thx! I forgot about that! It’s an element rc knight runner IFS chassis with custom wheel covers sliders and bumpers to fit the body from a toy grade hotwheels cyber truck.

Plz try to fit a traxxas slash on it and post it as a vid or a short cuz I was thinking of buying it for my slash to have it as a trail rig hauler

Idk much about trx4s but u said lowering it would it be better to do a portal delete or smaller shocks it how would u accomplish that? Thanks in advance and

There are aftermarket kits that replace the portal ends of the axles with straight axles. That would lower the truck about 15mm or so. And then going from 90mm shocks to 80mm would bet around 1” lower over all.

The chassis would make a good base to a custom winnebago built.

Thx. That tow bed may never see the light of day. Lots of challenges to overcome to get it to a reproducible state.

Cut the rails off I think it would even look better Plus your truck will sit more flat on the flatbed

Id leave the Snap On on the shelf, and then mod the standard version. Its one of the reasons I never looked more closely at the Snap On truck. Too rare to heavily modify.

Shouldn't be that hard to pull the flatbed off and install a trailer hitch for a scale trailer?? I guess you might have to cut the back of the frame to move the back lights forward.

Hard to say, but after the roll back kit is installed I plan to push another rock up a hill. Id like to eventually have a wheel lift as well. That will take a lot of work to execute but I'm going to give it a shot.

Great truck from trx But this truck needs 2 thing Until become wonderful The thing no.1 she needs winch in the rear cab so that can pul up the cars? The thing no.2 the surface needs come back And move forward via the remote 👍

Now traxxas you have NO reason not to make this a semi cab and make us a trailer!

cool video but spectrum two in one is an absolute downgrade no point in doing that at all just do a 1080 or a fusion or just leave it as it is. The only thing that makes Traxxas electronics look great is spectrum electronics
