Always an impressive feat when any Heavy can beat a SUPER Heavy weight. All things being equal, the big man should win. So it makes it that more impressive when the smaller man does. The difference? Johns INCREDIBLE hand and wrist strength and of course forearm but mostly the former. That's why bigger/stronger guys will pull him in the beginning of a match and will look like they are winning. But once John turns on the switch and gets a chance to use technique to overcome their power, that's all she wrote. If Trav don't beat John quick, the odds tip in Johns favor quickly. #TheLegend

I generally agree, but that's exactly the opposite of what happened here. John has always had a stronger arm than travis on the right, but travis was probably the best top roller in the world in 2005. And also John's arm was as powerful as any super heavy weight during his prime.

He has already beaten many top tier pros, almost pinned Devon at his prime first round and beat an elite in the middle wieght class that being Zoloev ALL IN THE SPAN OF 8 months my guy lol. He surely will beat irakli and Todd hutching later both of whom are top 50 in the world if not too 20 and zoloev who is super elite and best in his weight class got crushed by John yet again. Lol “John pulled a weak era” lol GTFO HERE. John in his prime well wrestling most of these guys minus levan, vitaly, and maybe prime denis all whom are over 300lbs and abuse PEDS like crazy. Lets not even talk about John being smaller, older and just came back from retirement after 4+ years and is already competing at the highest level yet again. I don’t even want to mention johns wasted potential, that is he could have been vastly far superior than his prime in 2005-2009 especially 2006 HAVE HE JUICED UP MORE AND TOOM GROWTH HORMONES AND TRAINED LIKE A MODERN ATHLETE WITH MODERN ARMWRESTLING EQUIPMENT, including PULLEYS, heavy weights, machines, and similar to how Todd hutchings, levan, and Ermes trains or any modern elite arm wrestler as a matter of fact. John had much more potent than his prime either you like it or not it believe it, that he could have surpass his prime and been significantly more superior and stronger in every facet and way possible it’s scary. Yet, John didn’t need that shit to steamrolled even giants like prime Lupkes, Denis, Devon, travis bagent, Pushkar etc.

He's def the definition of a raw natural, I admit I'm kind of new to sport as a fan and even after watching that cool pulling John documentary really didn't get a lot of insight into Travis like training regiment and his work ethic training intensity wise so I can be totally wrong, but he kind of comes off like one of those guys who has potential to be "the best: or close to it but maybe doesn't quite put in the level of work or good diet/ best weight lifting possible/ and etc. The way some of these other elites did, like for example while Baggant is clearly a rare genetic freak of a specimen of a man just big naturally strong! he's clearly one of the less you know muscular/ripped/defined of a lot of the other greats in his and this current era, which by no means does that count for everything I mean look at these pure ripped freak weight lifters they get crushed by pro arm wrestlers who aren't even 1/100th as ripped and muscular as they are, I just mean Baggant kind of seems like a guy or the type who relied mostly on just his raw genetics/ raw strength as opposed to relying on that but also putting as much focus on building his muscles and etc. Ya know what I mean? if that makes sense, but regardless I mean Baggant still has a killer record and his legacy is more then set in stone as is and I'm sure hel go down on most all time great what top 10-15 lists at least for sure! awesome dude and puller no doubt.

John won this one 2-1 and that's impressive as Travis is clearly heavier. His record against Travis is 25-5 (as per Travis himself it could be 28-2 and he won when he was much bigger )

@@Kizdo69 Sure there is. There is heavyweight and there is super-heavyweight aka open-class. Brzenk has always been a heavyweight. Bagent and many other "giants" he defeated were super-heavyweight.

Really depends on what weight john is at, he was lighter against voevoda. plus i think its an old person thing too, good days and bad days. john was prolly at his strongest when he was like 235 facing cyplenkov. Against voevoda i think he was like 20 pounds or so lighter. And again he's about 15yrs to 2 decades past his prime yet still one of the top in the world. but size does matter, voevoda, bagent, devon larret, all like 250 plus pounds and longer arms = big advantage.
