So Breznk hooks Pushkar, then top rolls him out of the hook, then hooks him back into a press to finish. That match demonstrates exactly why he's the GOAT.

@Серёга Сижук but so was Mike Tyson when he won the heavyweight championship of the world. If you're a grown man in a grown man's sport, you're gonna be judged on what you do or do not do
@weschandler6973

@Серёга Сижук he was still zloty tur champ in 2005. You’re making it seem like he was weak or something just because of his age. Pushkar was world class at this point already, but imo John was close to his strongest in 2006 when he beat him here.

They seriously called that a win in that Hutchings match? Hella got robbed. That dudes elbow was a mile off the pad.
@bobomonkey702

Yeah I don’t get that because they even looked at the cameras and still didn’t call it. But he would’ve lost the rest of that category. They were just too much weight and size.

Its in the rules that if the arm never loses contact with the elbow pad it doesnt count as a foul. I cannot recall the rule perfectly but Uncle Jon goes over it on his channel when he talks about a controversial match if you want to see

I miss Travis Bagent and Andre Pushkar. I like their style.
That's a big John there, and Travis looks bulked up too. Brzenk put on a master class of reversals and transitioning vs a legend in his own right. Great footage.

Yes, John transitioned better than Rupaul.
Bagents timing is unbelievable. He hits at exactly 0.1 seconds before the ref says go so he doesn’t feel like he should call a fault start and the opponents been left in the dust before he realises

That's why Travis was the ultimate tournament player. Flashing everyone till he makes the finals with a fresh arm.
John beat Semerenko 3 times all in a hook? I remember watching this 15 years ago and it might be cooler now. You’re the man

I was just watching that match again... lol John went full beast, great matches but what a draw he had....he opened hard.
Bagent always looking like he is false-starting, even in slow motion
Dammmmmn Gary, this is so cool. Pushkar was so awesome. Travis is a Beast!!! And Neil is perfect. Love it
It seems that John had a lot of discomfort in his shoulder.

he did...and a painful elbow.. he had to have surgery on the shoulder a few yrs later
Breznk is a master of his craft . His ability to transition from a hook to top roll to press with such ease and fluidity is most impressive .

It’s amazing!
Interesting adjustment by Bagent. He put his thumb under his middle finger instead of his index finger on the second try. First try 3:33. Second try 4:00.

I’d like to compare his 2009 vegas match against Denis compared to this. I think that was the biggest he’s ever been
John looks huge. His hand and especially his thumb is gigantic compared to his opponents. As many others have said it numerous times, John looks deceptively small as in reality his features are super-heavy weight class.
@karuonline3294

this was probably the biggest he had ever been..he looked much lighter while beating giants most of the time
That last match was FIRE!! John is amazing and Neil was on!
John looked huge! made pushkar look small. sad about that hutchings match though. wtf was that
Wow. Never seen some one take a all time greats hand like that... Just wrenched it open like a bottle opener. Bust it wide open Jonny boy!

John was so ahead of the rest of the competition back then it's amazing

John bent that wrest back and boom!!
Man Travis was strong. I’m pretty sure on Neils podcast I heard Richard Lupkes say that Pushkar was the strongest thing he ever felt. I’m not sure what match he was referring to but I believe he said he had nothing for him and Pushkar went right through him. Anyway what an awesome Tournament and video. Thanks Gary.

John strength with outstanding smartness on the table
I imagine strangers who tried a bar fight with Pushkar had a change of heart and bought him a drink. Scary dude.
11:42 😮 A hook to a top roll follower by a press Brzenk is insane
4:14 Vintage Bagent. Great win. Why he's a legend from the go. Vovoeda and Pushkar fell to that move. Who else can say that?
Changing hook into top row in side press position, the 8th wonder of Armwrestling .

What was the final and who won? I can't recall a Bagent - Brzenk finals

Travis can be a jackass, but I rate him higher than most people. I think he may have been the best armwrestler in the middle of the 2000's (2005?) and he's one of the best left handed ever. Not to mention that he's damn good with his right also. He wouldn't make my top 5 or maybe even top 10, but he's one of the best
And an 87 kg Todzilla was strong!!!
The announcer is familiar when Eddie hall deadlift 500 kg, when he said on the way we go., lol 11 years after he still using it. .
-11:32 ( Hook->> Toproll ->> Press ) CMIIW
Everyone looks so big here
Travis is fast as bullet
Brzenk controls the technique he wants seamlessly and then beats your advantage.
