TRAVELING to TURKEY for SURGERY in 2021 (Things you need to know before you go) | Hadia

I recently traveled to Istanbul, Turkey to see Dr. Resit Burak Kayan (May 2021). I wanted to make a video regarding documentation needed to travel to Turkey during 2021, along with a few other important points.
✨I pronounced the Turkish currency wrong the entire video (sorry). It’s Lira not Lara 😳
✨You can request Euros from your bank as well, ahead of time. YOUR DOCTOR MIGHT ACCEPT USD FOR PAYMENT (just ask them ahead of time and if they agree, they will look up the current exchange of Euro to USD for payment for the remainder of your balance)
✨If you found any of this information helpful, I would sincerely appreciate if you subscribed to my channel, liked my video and commented 😊
✨✨Check out my Turkey Rhinoplasty VLOG
• BULBOUS THICK SKIN RHI...
Subscribe & Stay Tuned for my Nose Job in Turkey Q+A. It will be LOADED with information and suggestions on what to pack, how my experience was in detail, travel information and more!
✨✨RHINOPLASTY Q&A | COSTS, ETC
• RHINOPLASTY Q&A | COST...
Turkey health registration form (Fill out 72 hours before travel)
(*Transportation company = airline you are flying into Turkey with)
register.health.gov.tr/
Evisa Website $50 (I had to fill this out on my desktop because my phone wouldn’t load the website)
www.evisa.gov.tr/en
✨Check Turkey’s Guidelines on testing needed prior to departure and also wherever you have a connecting flight (if another country other than yours). They may require a different test and time frame. As of today, June of 2021, Turkey requires a PCR test 72 hours before your departure flight.
✨I took the PCR at Walgreens and they had turn around time of 48 hours (this may differ for you).
✨ I also took the Rapid test for Germany the day before my flight and this was almost a problem until I explained the time difference. Please double check your timing! Find a place that gives instant results or results same day so you can take the latest appt offered to avoid missing the time frame by hours or minutes. Some countries are that strict.
✨ I will touch on all of this again in my next video! Best of luck to you! 👃 ✨💕

Hi Hadia, how are you? Just wanna say that your nose looks amazing and you look beautiful as well. I have 2 questions that I need to ask you, especially I have not done any types of surgery. Does rhinoplasty hurts? I'm really scared if I get any pain when I wake it. Plus, I'm doing it this year 2022 beginning of June because it's gonna be summer. Second question, when I go to turkey, can I change my money into euro? I live in Sydney Australia, and I don't know how to change from Australian money into euro.

And it does hurt but it’s work it. The healing process is painful the first 5 days, after that it gets better with each day. The best last is when you get to remove the cast for good. Then you can clean it and itch it. The itching drove me crazy but it passed was worth it.

Aww you’re welcome! So you will want to ask your doctor if they’ll accept the remaining balance in USD (that would be best for you to avoid exchange fees). If they say Liras, you will want to request some through your bank in advance or arrive at least a day earlier (weekday) to take a taxi to the bank there OR you can exchange at the airport in istanbul (the most expensive).
