Great Breakdown! I went to MoBay Jamaica with fam in August several yrs ago all inclusive was $850/each for 4 nts - roundtrip airfare, hotel, meals, drinks, transpo from/to airport transpo. June-November is off season. You can get great deals. Can't wait to visit again 🇯🇲

I love your videos. Im returning to Jamaica this year for the 5th or 6th time. This is my second attempt at doing a group trip. It has worked out better this time, but still going from about 15-20 people planning on going to about 5 or 6 people actually going. Next time i will let them know my plans. If they show up they show up, if not, cool! Its too much stress and drama involved booking a group trip like this. I feel the price you paid was great, especially staying at grand palladium. You get what you paid for. I wish people understood that too. It can be done much cheaper but dont expect 5 star service for 3 star prices. Again. Awesome, informative videos. Thank you

You could have paid way lest as they mentioned if you book with a Expedia, cheap Caribbean or Delata vacations. Same trip for my family of four cost us $3000.00 July 4 holiday. Always do your flight and hotel together. Delta vacations always have free transfers from airport to hotel plus for get double points to book and travel with Delta.

Not sure if you listened to the video in its entirety but we explained why we overpaid. This was a group trip planned around a bunch of people that wanted the same flights etc then backed out forcing us to do things wayyyy differently than we normally would.

Great thoughts on saving for the trip...My wife and I used American Airlines Vacations and booked early and the week before Memorial Day and spent almost exactly what you paid for 10:days/ 9 nights at the Lady Hamilton!

Lol,love the video.You do have to plan your trip.You are investing in creating memories that last.I have been to mobay and stayed at the Riu Reggea resort with dunn's river falls excursion.Time and money well spent no regrets.Fyi if your going in the summer purchase tickets three months in advance.This is the time for reggea sumfest and dream week among other cultural festivals in jamaica.

I spent New years week 2015 at the Palladium, and yes I also stayed on both sides of the property had a fantastic time. I am sorry you didn't take any excursions, if I had spoken to you before the trip I would have recommended a sunset trip to Rick's Cafe @ the Negril west end it would have added a local layer to your to your trip. But anyhow big up again. Next time in Jamaica I reccomend you stay in Ocho Rios that's my favourite part of Jamaica.

Yes we did the same thing only with Sandals Ochi about the same cost and yep planed it out for a full year and time is next month coming up. Great part with Sandals is they have a payment plan and can help with the plane ;) So Excited to go Back I was in Montego Bay ages ago and planing on checking out the Blue Hole also on the way in going to check out Cinnamon Hill and Rose Hall :) Best part with the Sandals all inclusive which is awesome :)

Me and my wife are going to Jamaica in April 2023 I’ve already started planning on my job I get paid every week and what I’ve been doing for the last three months is putting up $100 a week out of each one of my checks and by the time I’m ready to book everything I will have a total of $5000 so really that’s going to pay for the trip

I’ve always wanted to go to Jamaica again but cruising is the most affordable way for me to travel.

When on vacay sometimes we splurge on things for the experience. It’s not necessary and most resorts transport for free or on the low low via a charter bus.

I live in Seattle now Plane Tickets cast alot flying from here but I'm from Bad News AkA Newport News,Va

I went on cheap Caribbean and paid less than 2,000 for two people all inclusive and the roundtrip bus. but it is cheaper not going around holidays

We just booked for May 2021.... 6days/5nights at the Hilton rose hall all inclusive thru booking.com we are making payments $139 a month for a year .... thought that was a good deal. @@LifeWithUsTV exactly! Now I have both complaining about the price. I have done all the research by myself. Gave them a breakdown of different prices without the airline tickets. I decided to get the help of a travel agent because it's just way too much to plan for a big group. Travel agent comes up with a pretty decent price than what I would have came up with doing it myself. I don't think everybody in the group will be going because I don't think they realize how much this would actually cost. And it's literally coming out to be under $1,500 for some and under $1,800 for those that wants a room by themselves. I'm over it, lol. When I say I am NEVER doing this again, I mean it! Lol. Especially not internationally.

yes, we had a ton of factors that made us spend more than needed (group trip, agreed upon dates around a holiday, add on's, last minute flight changes). I will never do that again, just planning for me and mine lol

Go to kfc 🇯🇲🇯🇲the best kfc in the world , Ribbies ( lounge bar ) Tastees is the best Patty Restaurant and if you go local u have to stop in Portmore and go to Hellshire Beach and get some delicious Fish and festival

The major difference is that the lady Hamilton side is more glam and posh . The regular side is just the basics but both sides share all the amenities

When I lived in Miami I used to go home regular sometime jus for a party the way it so cheep

You think your flights are expensive I have traveled from Australia oh lordy that price tag. But I've found that you can skip out on the prices of hotels and instead go cheaper by booking an "Air bnb" or a hostel (backpackers). If you're not picky you can save heaps on accommodation to account for those flight prices. I'm serious I've stayed for over a week for roughly $150 (AUD) the whole stay (For accommodation.)

I will be arriving in Jamaice June 3rd it's a Wednesdy, landing at 12:30 pm. Do you feel I should do Club Mobay? I have seen videos that say to do it and some say it's not worth it because their wait was not long. I am curious what your thoughts are.

I wouldn’t do it unless you can be there for over an hour. It’s really a rest stop so that you get an experience while waiting for your transportation to the resort. Keep in mind most lodging do not check in guest before 3pm . I enjoyed departure club mobay more, we had a long time in there waiting for our flight. We were able to shop duty free without any rush etc

typically $1 per drink or just drop a $5 if we were there for awhile. $10 for housekeeping.

hi again! i didn’t do a package deal like you did. i have an airbnb. when i get to Jamaica airport will i be able to talk to someone there about getting a driver to get me to my airbnb?

Yep, they have plenty of options and there’s a desk setup to help you as well.

can easily make the trip at a nice resort for 2g flat, any accountant can handle that😂. DR or Cancun are a viable alternative if that’s too much

Do the travel is separate unless you bundle it in your transaction if applicable.

Have you tried RIU Resorts? Try Allianz travel insurance I use a travel agent for some of my trips, he handles flight, resort reservation and Transportation
