For years, we've been working on an ongoing project: capturing desolate environments in the most genuine way possible. Usually, such sceneries have a unique ambiance you can find nowhere else. From the haunting echoes of crumbling walls to the whispers of nature reclaiming its territory, each location tells its own story through sound. Join us as we become silent observers in this video, immersing ourselves in the fragments of the past and unlocking the emotions they evoke! #urbex #abandonedplaces #bwturbex

Excellent. The unique soundscapes of such places have been almost completely ignored by the rest of the Urbex world. Thanks!

there’s a kind of sacredness to the feeling of these spaces, like a cathedral. where the silence is imbued by the past, and you’re aware of your pinprick shadow cast against the vast tapestry of time. thank you for bringing us to these places.

It's crazy that we discovered places that are much wilder than everything we saw in games or shows/movies!
I wish someone would take the essence of this video and make a video game that doesn't involve all that much fighting (as a LOT of post-apoc games seem to be) and make it an empty world for you to live and survive in. If there's ONE thing i miss about 2020, 2020 the first and 2020 the second (because, those years the clock sat still) is this, the seemingly empty world we lived in.
The shot of you all walking down the loooooong tunnel was really cool. Every time I expected it to turn, it just kept going!

This is an old nazi bunker. I think it was used for storing fuel during WW2. The gas tanks must have been endless as are the tunnels! This was a thrilling explore! Thanks for your comment!
As we walk through the struggle called life, it's nice to take some time in silence and awe at the beauty that springs from the past.

👆 Exactly this. Thanks for sharing and watching the latest upload! Stay tuned for more.
I imagine that you guys take a few moments when you're exploring to stand still, watch and listen to the area you're exploring. This video gives us armchair urbexers the chance to experience that. Favourite? Probably the structure at 4:17. Imo anachronistic. A modern looking building in a state of decay you'd expect in a much older structure.

Hey there, thanks for watching and your kind feedback! Indeed, we hold still to absorb the atmosphere of these places during our explorations. For the clips of this video, we put the camera on a tripod, sat down and recorded for at least five minutes straight while we were silent and observing the landscape/soundscape unfolding.
Oh I’m so happy to see this video❤❤❤

Love this! So serene and beautiful !
I have limited time for urban exploration, yet the surroundings and music feel refreshingly pure, and every small detail evokes nostalgic memories. I do urbex just to escape the reality... thanks BWT
In today's fast paced society we have lost many things. Beauty within modernized construction. An the ability to just stop, sit back and take in the sounds and sites of the glorious world around them.
It’s so hard to decide which shot I like the most. They have their own story and energy. Around 10:00 and 15:20 are close to my favorites though. Something very emotional there for me.
Loved this!
This was a beautiful journey of sight and sound guys, very calming & artistic. 💗
This is fantastic, Thank You!
This was so peaceful and relaxing to watch, just enjoying the sounds of nature. I think my favourite would have to be the clouds passing by when you were in the silo. Great work!

Nature reclaims everything we leave behind. We love to see that on our journeys!
At least once a year, i fit a backpack throw a dart on an old map and find the least inhabited place in that area. Even if it's a day, it's a good place to spend and reflect.

👆 What everyone should do.
Wow! So many thoughts and feelings developed during this presentation. I won't begin to list them but know you have invoked them AND for the better. I almost always have to have a sound machine going when I sleep. Sounds that you have also included here, post-apocalyptic sounds which also produce images. I'm not sure why. ❤

@@bwturbex That is wonderful news! I find your work to be totally immersive, the quality and care you put in incorporates all the senses in a unique way. Of course you see and hear it, but that leads to a recall of olfactory memories, where you smell the musty books, the oiled machinery, or the scent of forest. You feel the temperature or texture of a stone wall, or the kiss of rain. The only sense that eludes is taste, and it isn’t missed.🖤🇨🇦
Thanks for this video 👍 I love those submarine bunkers. I was there a few days ago, and parked between two of them for a few nights

Hey Joe, you should watch our regular exploration videos. We always explore the sites and tell their stories. But we rarely reveal the exact location! That's our method to protect the places from getting well-known and overrun. We don't want this, because we want to preserve the essence of these sites.
So many of these places had birdsong, which is among my favorite sounds.❤ Do you have a video exploring the structure at 4:27? What is 11:40?
@bwturbex
8 ай бұрын
Thanks! We haven't posted any videos from these places yet. We came across them during our travels in Croatia (this is planned to be published in early 2024). The first structure is an abandoned monument/museum. The second one is dictator Tito's former political school.
Beautiful! Tho it would be interesting to know what countries or general regions these are from for a bit of cultural context.

супер ! - атмосферно, с погружением. большое спасибо за видео.
i’m very sorry for how you responded to my personal war and that of all those who think like me, creators included, against youtube's increasingly greedy restrictions. i never thought that you had such an entrepreneurial spirit, to agree with google's policy and with a marketing system that only promotes a fckng logic of profit.
