    A and B start and A comes back = 3 min C and D take off and send B back = 12 min A and B cross over = 2 min. Total is 17 minutes. Are there better alternatives?

    You also get the same result in a slightly different configuration: A+B go, B returns= 4 minutes C+D go, A returns = 11 minutes A+B go = 2 minutes 17 minutes

    I get 19 minutes as the fastest time to cross. Is that right?
