佐柳島にはこれまで3回行ったことがあります。どのニャンコもとても人懐っこくて可愛いですね。私もチュールを持って行ったことありますが、ニャンコ達には大人気でした。

船着き場のベンチにちゅーるすりつけて猫にやってる人とかいるんだよなー（ベンチべとべと） カリカリは食べない猫もいて地面にばらまいてほったらかしにする人も。 コンビニも自販機もないゴミは持ち帰れなどの話からマナーを大切にしなきゃと思いながら行くことにしています。

瀬戸内海は美しいな地方ですね。猫ちゃんが可愛い！猫ちゃんを助けるありがとう！

佐柳島は過去３回お邪魔さしてもらいました。過去猫島と言われるとこは４ヵ所ほど行ったけど、この佐柳島が手応え一番あったかなあ。

無理がたたった屋外作業で風邪気味だった私の体調は、すっかり回復しました。ありがとうございます。砂浜で多くの猫たちと一緒に大の字（仰向け）になり、朝ごはんの後から夕御飯の前まで寝転がっている妄想をしてみました。

Some of the cats seem like they are needing a veterinarian visit, poor kitties.

Thank you for your comment!🥰 The people who live on the island feed the cats. The islanders remember the cats' faces. However, the treats brought by tourists are delicious, so the cats come close to them.

Thank you🥰 We are not looking for foster homes for island cats. The island cats are loved by the islanders. However, many cats are kept in foster homes in Japan. They are living happily.

Oh, this is my little paradise) I like cats very much, always wanted to have in at home, but unfortunately I can't due to the job with long duty journeys. Maybe you will visit this place again and take with yourself a big pack of different cat's food? Strange, that there is no tourists in this place. Not a season yet?

Please come and visit us when you come to Japan ^ ^ It's quite rural so there aren't many tourists! Also, it was winter when I went to the island, so there weren't many people.

Seems like these cats are healty and well groomed so the island residents must take care of them. The tube food seem to be very apriciate. Did not see any young ones so the cat population must be neutered. Thanks lady for the visit

Thanks for the comment😍 It is not a deserted island. So perhaps you could live there! But there didn't seem to be any new houses, so you would need to remodel. Life surrounded by cats is a blessing🐈✨✨

У меня живет уже 16 лет кот, которого я люблю, и который любит меня. Также есть кошка в семье моего сына. Каждый человек может принять в семью бездомную кошку, как это сделала моя мать. Ведь это вполне естественно- помочь бездомному животному. Для этого совсем не обязательно ехать на далёкий остров. Человек, который заботиться о животном, становится лучше и добрее.

a sticker we made for you my daughter and I of Harley our tortoiseshell and Seb are tabby very loveable friendly comforting cats. This is them I took a photograph of them waiting to be fed last night by my daughter. Leah she loves to then turn them into cat stickers lol animals stickers she loves animals very much.

My vet nurse brain can't help but notice cats there with health issues that need treatment. A cat with ear sun damage/cancer on his nose and ear. A cat with is eye glued shut with gunk. Another with skin issues on the face. Do these cats get any proper care or do they just rely on the visitors and people who live on the island?

Thank you for your comment. We are still relying on islanders and tourists to address these issues of island cats. However, there are times when veterinarians come to the islands to vaccinate them and take other measures.

コメントありがとうございます！ネット情報ですが佐柳島の猫は去勢避妊はされてないようです。 島猫のお世話をする人が多いみたいで。 同じ香川の男木島や女木島の猫は全猫去勢避妊してるらしいです🐈

毎年増えてくる兆し？避妊去勢をすれば癌などもなりにくいですし感染症患えば接触(ケンカ交尾)度にうつします。ボラさん治療は引き受けてはるのかしら？気になりました。

A good few don't look very healthy and all seem very hungry. Are they looked after by any volunteers that come to the island, I wonder?
