Great channel! I was lucky to enjoy that warm period in 2020 in February. I visited to my friend in Interlacken for trekking and solo paragliding. Flying from Beatenberg was a lifetime experience for sure I 'll visit again. Unterseen and Interlaken, Thun was a great place to visit. Temperature was up to 17 celsius, freakin awesome. I subscribed on your channel! Keep on sharing adventures. I have also some on mine.😊

@@nidaaziz2088 never been there during April. The green wilm start to show but wont be powerful by then. The waterfalls might be powerful

I have a fairly flexible schedule and I just cannot decide the best time to visit. I love beautiful scenery, hiking, maybe swimming. Not into skiing but love tourist attractions. I’d prefer not to go June-October, so that leaves November-May so i’m thinking April but I keep hearing many pros and cons for that time.

Thank you for your video! I am preparing the trip to interlaken just before Easter, maybe try some gliding or skydive then, or take some mountain scooter hiking with my families. Like you said in your video, the weather in April may be unpredictable, I am not sure if there would be some activities to do.

Hi Yuan. Happy to read that you will visit Interlaken. It's one of the most touristy places in all of Switzerland. Definitely, Interlaken is very good for paragliding. Weather-wise: Just go with the flow. April has it's magical and frustrating moments. My secret tip for April would be the "Niederhorn". It's a less-touristy place that is mainly visited by locals. It offers you a great vista over the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The tickets are also quite cheap! I hope you will have a great trip!

Hey Djemo! We’ll be visiting mid April. I know the weather will be unpredictable & we’ll prepare for whatever happens but I have a question: Can we expect Lauterbrunnen to be green at all? Or more snow? We’re going to be spending most of our time there.

Hi Shilpa. You can visit the Simmental or the Niederhorn to see Krokus blossoms. Else, you can see many flowers at any known gardens. For Rosenlaui openig times, I suggest you to check on their website. I have never been there before. It's still on my to do list.

Great video. I am hoping to visit in mid to late April. I will likely be driving in from either France or Germany and would like to visit the Interlaken area. Are the roads typically open in that part of Switzerland?

Hi. As long as the roads are not above 1300m, they should usually be open all year.

I think April Weather in Swiss is like in Germany specialy in East Germany Places😃 the Weather Changes Constantly to Rain , sunny to Winter again😆..

Hi. Thanks a lot for your nice comment! Definitely, for early April you need Winter clothes. I assume you might also ascend some mountains. For that, even in Summer it will be cold above 2000 meters. The Switzerland shirt you can buy at any souvenir shop; certainly at the airport.

Hiii. I guess probably not right 1 or 2 days before but maybe 2 weeks. Most attractions are open. As long as you dont travel on the Easter weekend, it should be not crowded. I think, you won't need tours in Switzerland. Unless, you want to go really deep into the history of the places.

Would you know which hiking track is open on the first two weeks of April?

Hi. It is getting greener now but it's just about to really start. The landscape will only turn fully green during the 2nd half of May. Thus, I cannot give you any definite answer. But yes, there will be already leaves but also blossoms still. About the weather, April is a big mix, as I have outlined in the video. Thus, the weather can never be exactly predicted. Each year it was different. Make sure to bring clothes for warm and cool days and take the possibility of rain into your account. I hope you will be having a great time and good weather here in Switzerland. I hope that helped :)

@@laxmanbisht2638 great. Zermatt will be more Wintery still, Interlaken has Spring already. The Lauterbrunnen valley has a lot of water. Zermatt will be cheaper in April than in Winter😊

Seems this year's carnival is doing a fantastic job in chasing the Winter spirits away. Sadly, there is very little snow and it's getting less year by year... global warming :(

Hi. Yes, pretty much all clips, except a few that were taken in May 2021 that would represent a proper April, since April 2021 was far too cold and delayed all blossoms etc

Hi. In daily life we don't because English is not an official language of Switzerland but in service it is a requirement to speak English. The young people are mostly fluent in English😊 You will have no problems to get around🤗
