Thanks for the great tips! I agree with you on the travel credit cards - highlighting that some cards include fantastic trip insurance built in. I've used the trip insurance on my Chase Sapphire Reserve multiple times because of flight delays and cancellations, and was able to have my hotels, meals, taxis covered up to $500 each incident (cancellation, etc.) And this was all just from booking the trip on the card - I didn't buy extra insurance for this. Greetings from a fellow Washingtonian (living in Hong Kong)!

We had a really good experience staying at the Radisson Blu 1919 Hotel in Reykjavik. The hotel manager at the time was amazing and so helpful!

Thank you Sarah and Lisa for an informative travel tips podcast! I have learned so much that we can apply to domestic travel. I love Delta Airlines. Whenever I have traveled alone or with my husband, they always take care of us. Last year on our final leg home to Dalles, TX we were bumped up to business class. This was after a delayed flight, then canceled flight at LaGuardia Airport. But, they handled it all!! We each had our backpacks with everything we needed for an overnight stay. Thanks!! 1:02:20
