Thanks!
The diversity colorful buildings and cleanliness makes me smile! 😊
Thanks for exploring Singapore, not the usual city views we see from other videos in KZread. Yes, Singapore is not only beautiful but clean very modern and has diversities. First time I see on videos there’s an Arab quarter in the city with so many food options and variety stores. Nice cute and colorful little buildings in the Turkish, Indian and Mexican quarters. It gives me the idea where to go and check other ethnic places aside from just China town. It’s nice to venture, buy souvenirs and try their cafes and restaurants. Wonderful video of Singapore! Thanks Chris and Carol 😘
Welcome to Singapore! It's such a joy to watch your video and thanks for sharing the experience. What I'm proud of SG is it is a safe country, you can stroll in the middle of the night without worries.
I love the calmness of your commentary and videos.
Chris and Carol, Singapore is a great metropolis!
Those artificial trees really look better at night, very romantic atmosphere! The law and order in Cambodia is more worrying, so please pay more attention to everything! I wish you all the best in Thailand and have a great travel! Great job, Thanks for sharing! 👍🥰🙌

Absolutely beautiful place! Love the information you provided through out the video. Food looked so good!
If you have time, you guys can also try the Rifle Range Nature Park or the Botanic Gardens (& the Learning Forest extension) too. If you have even more time, there is Pulau Ubin and also Sungei Buloh Wetlands Reserve (if you get lucky you might see saltwater crocs in the wild). :)
Great video. With parents and all. Happy times! But i must say, remembering your travel to Greece. That was Epic. I Really hope You will return to Greece...
so informative and beautiful video, thanks for sharing this
Hiya. Chris and Carol. Thank you for the tour around. I always enjoy your content. Informative. That rain is like the UK right now. The apple store looks cool. Beautiful at night. Gorgeous light show. Thank you for sharing. Safe travels.
Brilliantly filmed. Happy new year Chris and Carol.👍😊💙
Hello Chris and Carol, thank you for sharing your wonderful beautiful day in Singapore. Your posting is always awesome. I’m glad your parent are enjoying their trip.
Amazing light show & great video! I highly enjoy your videos Chris & Carol! Thank you, safe travels! Happy 2023!!✌️😀👍🎉🥳🎉
Appreciate you for always telling it like it is. Travel is seldom perfect but always worth it! Thank you C & C.
Fabulous, beautiful, colourful modern city with so much to see. So much great food. You always amaze me how naturally you video as you walk and speak.
Thanks for the USD conversions and your humidity comments. Helps with international travel plans.
Love it! When I used to visit my now wife in SG, we stumbled upon a restaurant called Banana Leaf Apollo in Little India...and we went back several times over the months! Looks like you guys had a top meal at the hawker centre though - which are also amazing there and all over SG (recommend Newton Circus in that regard, too). Great vid as always, guys!
Unless I missed it from a different video, you should definitely stay at least one night in Marina Bay Sands if you haven't yet, The infinity pool at the top (only open to guests) is a great experience in itself. The rest of the hotel is impressive as well.
Thank You for showing Singapore
Wonderful Singapore videos, Chris. Great seeing you with your parents and wife. 🥰🌴🌺
Great! Looking for your next videos!
Great job, Thanks for sharing
Great light show guys 👍👍
Enjoyed ,thanks
I’m glad that you’re enjoying Singapore! Do try Stingray and frog porridge!
Can't wait for thailand videos. I'm making an Asia trip next month beginning in thailand ending in Singapore thanks for sharing

Thank you for the hiking option. Will be there in a month.
Very nice travel friend Nice county Singapore Thanks for great sharing 💕💕 Greatting from Macau china
Wow this video is super clear
Peace and blessing happy New Year beautiful video 😎🌹🖤👍🏾💯
Beautiful video ☺👍
Winter in singapore is distinctively characterised by its torrent rainfall.
Great vid
Bro if you still got time , go Geylang Serai market nice food over there.
Really good shots. Parabéns
Such a nice and attractive couple. It's a pleasure to watch their Vlogs!
Singapore is great, safest place to visit
Wow , what a place 👍🙂
Another great video. I used to live close to the Kampong Glam area for 8 years…. As always very well presented…..👍🏻
I’m flying to Thailand in 2 weeks, maybe see you there 😉 Gonna start there and go through Malaysia and end in Singapore, hope it’s not unbearably hot by then! Safe travels.
Take your time to rest from vlogging Chris and Carol. You’ve been traveling and editing videos all year plus both of you got covid when you were in Brazil around this time. Have an enjoyable vacation off vlogging with your parents in Cambodia and Thailand. 😘
Good luck for you 👍👍👍
Singapore used to be part of Malaysia once until we separated in 1965. So culturally plus food is similar.
Lovely couple, Congratulations to you guys for your 2nd remarkable videos from Singapore this weekend in December of 2023❤❤❤I wish you guys the BEST in peace 2023❤❤❤
Love the lights, Chris that place is awesome 😎😎👍👍 Merry Christmas and happy New Year to you and Carol 🎉🎉
Use the metro which is more efficient & cooler to travel around! And use miss where the local hangout!
It is great to show parent too. 👍👏👏
Great video, never been to Singapore but now I want to go! :)

@kennethdaniels3000

@@thebudgetbackpackers Preferably December and January because of the festivals and funfairs springing up across downtown and the housing estate area. However, it’s as hot as a microwave these days. It would always rain consistently daily in Dec/Jan following year but I noticed that it only rains once a week recently. So, yes. It can get very very humid. Alternatively, August and September is where it gets beautiful because of fall/autumn, which looks surreal if you’re in forest reserve parks like Mount Faber or Tampines Eco Green.
Hike the mt Faber that’s where you will get good views of the Sentosa area with cable cars
Lovely to see Singapore, once again I love the streetarts
Wow Singapore good place
The light show is free. What you’re paying is the admission to Christmas Wonderland.
Night safari is good too
Wow nice place
At 6:40 of your video near the Turkish kerbab is Zam Zam. My favourite mutton murtabak is there 😁
Super place 🎉🎉🎉
If you have time, visit Sungei Buloh Nature Park where, if you're lucky, able to spot some crocodiles and other wild life.
Nice video...watching from jakarta 🇮🇩
Beautiful singapore
Lol! U missed the other light show in front of Marina Bay Sands! Special & free!
Only a passing cloud... I am in Suriname for 60 days.. raining every day but still warm and enough sun to get a great tan...
Love travelling
It’s my dream to go to Singapore but because my husband smokes e-cigarettes we can’t go so I love watching your videos on Singapore xx
You've put a spanner in the works here. We may have to reconsider spending some time here. Thanks 😁

My Fav City - Use to fly from Aust to Sing for long weekends - Have my MRT Cards ready to use, often loan them to friends, One great thing with MRT Cards you can also use them in vending machines for drinks and snacks
Nice
Thank you for another vlog in Singapore. Bukit Timah is another nice place to visit to explore the nature. You guys can also visit the tree top walk way which is free and I trust you will enjoy it. Thanks again for visiting our local hawker centre like little india for our local food. Looking forward for your next vlog. Cheers !!!

Welcome to Singapore!
Big like Singapore ✌🇱🇧👍
Go to the reservoir area. Bukit timah is nice.
nice
Like your videos, nice! One question, from which site or app you found this apartement?
Beautiful and diverse place.
Yes you may want to cut down the trees which have only been there for a few years and spoil the view. As an example, Versailles did not have a lot of trees in the original design. But over hundreds of years they grew up and Versailles looked nothing like it was supposed to be. However, a huge hurricane like storm went through Europe and unrooted millions of trees. Thousands of them at Versailles. So, they restored Versailles to its original look. Don't get me wrong, as I love trees. But sometimes they got to go.
The lizard at 2:46 looks like a miniature Komodo dragon😯😯
You must try their LAKSA...
At 6:45 where Carol was talking to you is one of the best Biryani & Murtabak shop in Singapore, it's called Victory Restaurant 😉
Value, Mauricio e Jane.
What’s the name of the sci-fi movie please? Didn’t hear it well because of the background noise hehe. Thanks guys! ❤ I love your videos so much by the way I watch it almost everyday.
Your voice sounds like cricket commentator 😊
Simple easy vlog. Next time you are here, give me a shout i will bring you some hardcore local places
Well, you learn something every day, don't you? I have always wondered how foreign credit card fees impacted on the cost of MRT travel in Singapore. I figure from what I know of MRT prices, that of the $3.08USD you paid to get to Beauty World MRT about $2USD went on card fees. So (and this all sounds so clever in retrospect), if you had bought an EZ-link card ($10SGD, $5 card -$5 travel value) you would have been even on the return journey, and then had access to local prices on all the rest of your public transport journeys while in Singapore. Just how cheap public transport is in Singapore is amazing. It just goes to show that getting an EZ-Link card early in your stay in Singapore is the way to go. Forget the Tourist Card unless you are making 20 trips a day over 2 or 3days. The standard EZ-Link card is available from every 7-Eleven, TransitLink ticket office, Singapore Post, and MRT passenger service centre and offers great value. My one regret about the the EZ-Link card is that its name only transliterates meaningfully if you are an American. For the rest of the English speaking world it comes across as EZed-Link which doesn't really work.
@auvoir2000

Nah, the card fees are supposed to be SGD0.50, maybe there is a deposit, i'm sure they would be refunded. :D
@markjones2781

@@auvoir2000 Ahh, The crew said they paid $3.08USD each way per person. The standard fare is $0.75USD each way per person. The extra $2.33 USD came from some where, Jason. Not all cards offer free transactions. Most of the cards from the big four banks here in Australia charge high fees and commissions on overseas transactions. Fortunately, you can save yourself a small fortune by looking around.

Regarding the train tickets, can you not tap it twice to get two tickets or need individual cards for every person?

@@JumpingPlaces - The USD$3 might be a hold not a charge. There is a S$0.60 local admin fee per ride for international credit cards. Not/failed tapping out flat/max rate is S$2.20 ( did you tap out?) . USD$ 1 is still unaccounted for. Your max charge should be ~USD$2.10 per trip.
