Trapping in the Tall Grass The dog at the top of the dam 13

On most traplines, you will have dogs that roam widely and others which remain in a defined area. At one dam on this huge property, there were tracks of a few "resident" dogs who had survived local trapping and night vision attempts in the past. So the challenge was accepted.

Just the other day Skunk phoned me and said Dad is gonna get us one of those "Flash Harry" Roxor Mahindra jobbies , I said Skunk , old pal , old buddy , old mate , Your Dad's name is McGhie , and as far back as when Noah was just a boy , they've always been the tightest , dirt scratching , penny pinching , folks around . The McGhies may be the worlds best trackers , they maybe the worlds best hunters , they maybe the worlds best conservationists , but as long as my arsehole points to the ground you'll never get your Clark Mcghie Daddy , for all his good points , to fork out for his just deserving family for a half decent limo for his kids to tour in, after all , you just have to ask yourself , where would this young whippersnapper of a Clark be without his kids making him look good ? Cheers Clark and ALL the Family . best show ever .

Brill episode Clark, Trapping/ snaring here in the UK is taking a back seat to thermal night shooting now. Time is money and all that. Gone are my dads days of trapping vermin unfortunately. He's 90 next month and I'm taking him for a drive around his old trapping stomping ground, looking forward to hearing the old stories again.

Hi Mr Clark,it’s been great watching you each week.I hope you are all well after Covid.I recently saw a story online by (Hamish Cole ) you might find amusing.I only read a little but it said feral animal species have increased in the largest numbers and to places were they have not been seen before, due to the stoppage of Ariel culling.this is the best part,it goes on to say that Elnino will cause a substantial decline in there numbers.keep up the good work Clark.

Just great to watch you trapping but in the USA where i'm from I use to trap back in the sixty's for mink and coon mostly water sets did really really good at it but fur prices went to hell fast here so that kind of tell's you something of my age use to love it now I love to sit back and watch a hell of a great trapper like you nice to see. If people would take to time to study what your trappinf and watch them you can learn a hell of a lot.

I've just been on the phone with skunk , he tells me my Dad Clark says if we want a new car we need to pay for it from our own savings . I said we need to use all our savings on cameras and guns and traps just to make him look good . At times, my dad Clark is so hard on us , there's no surprises that we wait till he's asleep , pinch his credit card ,slip into town , purchase a brand new Roxor Mahindra for ourselves ( we'll still let Dad steer and change those gear thingys ) to therefore travel around with a little dignity . Our Dad Clark is a good man in so many other ways , he does however need reminding from time to time who are the real bosses of this outfit , Cheers from ; Skunk , Joe Brandon Et Al , Inter Alia .and all the rest of our mob.

I had a collie that use to have a sleep on the front seat while driving, God if you said anything or disturbed him when it didn't suit him he would give you the filthiest look or some times he would snarl and growl at you god he use to get the shits. For the life of me i don't know why but if anyone had a handicap he was on to it, it was embarrassing at times. He didn't like Asians,if they were in a car next to us at traffic lights he would turn rotten nasty and snarl growl at them, and it was he's own behaviour i never taught him any of this, he was a mental case..
