This is so real. It is as if we are with Anne, going through what she would have. She was an innocent 15-year old who still had her entire life left to live, but it was taken away because of hate. It might be hard to watch, but this happened and we have to remember. We have to remember and uplift these stories so that other lives like Anne’s will not be stolen as well. I cannot express this enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this. For everyone whose life was lost in the Holocaust. 💔

"Probably would have" Bruh. Her book is one of the ten best selling in the WORLD. Everyone knows her name. She IS a bestselling Author. Her Father had the decency to let the world know her story right until her tragic ending

This is one of the absolute best adaptations of Anne’s story I’ve ever seen. I’m blown away in amazement at the concept of the video diary and the brilliant acting and in sadness at the situation. Absolutely stunning. The season 2 episodes remind me a lot of “Grave of the Fireflies” because in that movie it has the spirits of the children looking back on the final months of their lives.

I'm Ukrainian. I've been reading Anne's diary for a while now but since the war in my country has started, I feel so much more connection with her. Me, together with my other family are in hiding from bombing occurring in my hometown. Of course, we are in much better circumstances, no one is looking for us specifically or sending us to concentration camps, we have enough food and can go outside. However, that fear of what might happen tomorrow is everlasting. But so is our hope for the better, just like Anne's hope for the future without the war. We're dealing with the Hitler of the 21st century. Nevertheless, we all know that the truth, kindness, unanimity and hope will win over the marasmatic intentions to rule the world.

sadly it happens now again slowly. the first small steps are happening right now. in some countrys you cant do anything fun anymore if youre not vaccinated. we are at war with our own goverments. but most people sadly dont see it or dont want to see it

eu não tenho oq dizer, simplesmente lamento, por toda dor q todos ali sentiram, angústia, tristeza, medo e diversos outros. Eles ainda tinham esperança de poder sair daquele lugar, e que sobreviveriam a guerra, mas infelizmente não aconteceu. Anne foi muito forte, e era uma garota incrivelmente sábia, e sempre estará em meu coração.

How about the old man in Ostrich who repeatedly raped his Grand daughter in the Dungeon and nobody knew. Many other sad things are happening and are happend in this world.

I think Anne would have loved this version of her diary. She'd have loved a video camera and probably still named it Kitty.

Im teaching the Diary of Anne Frank to my Asian students. I feel deeply for Anne, her family and all the people who suffered. God help us not to forget. May it never be repeated again.

This is one of the best Adaptation of Anne's Life. Actually one of the first to show her story through her eyes.. She is definitely blessing you guys from above for this beauty....

It really sucks thinking that although she lost her mom & sis if she had known her father was still alive it may have given her more hope to hold on. The history of how we can divide & mistreat each other is terrible.

Anne frank diary touched my heart

Anne was a beautiful soul, and hearing the story of her life, it just warms my heart. It feels as if she is really there, and I’d want to be her friend. The relationship that Anne had with her family and friends also breaks my heart, just to know that they has some happy times at the camp because they were together is beautiful, and how much hope they had. I have read her diary, and it truly touches me, even though I cannot exactly relate, keeping hope, staying the happiest version of yourself even at the toughest of times is truly inspiring, for even when we get injured, or a loved one is lost, Anne was really, the best writer ever.

So, wie die Anna Darstellerin ihre Rolle spielt, kommen einen die Tränen. Man hätte keine bessere Darstellerin dafür finden können! Danke, dass uns das in der nötigen Tiefe; Ernsthaftigkeit und Gefühl, dargeboten wird.

It is such a cruel story to begin with… I have been so obsessed with her story ever since I was ten years old. It is through her example that I began writing stories, which today I’m still doing. What broke me the most is that she was send away to Bergen-Belsen, away from her mother, the only one to rely on her sister. She died in March ‘45. Auschwitz-Birkenau was liberated in something like January or February. That would have meant that Anne and her sister were most likely to have survived the war if they were not send to Bergen-Belsen. We will never know that for sure, but just to think about the possibility hurts. She was such a special girl - her sister too, and they did not deserve any of this. Just like all the other people who died in the camps, or had to survive one of the most gruesome part of history. May they all rest in the arms of God.❤

The detail was amazing! It was a great surprise and I am really looking forward to the next episode. She really deserved a better life and it’s even more sad to see it in video.

Serie 1 is veel gekeken op basisscholen in Nederland (groep 7 en 8), dat hebben we gestimuleerd door er in de Anne Frank Krant (verschijnt jaarlijks voor groep 7 en 8) naar te verwijzen en we hebben er ook een 'kijkboekje' bij gemaakt.

I couldn't even make it without crying. The actress brought this to life, and I could feel her pain. I still can't wrap my mind around hating someone so much you could do this to them. And most of the world allowed it...

i always felt sad about anne frank’s story, it was tragic and inhumane. but seeing it from her perspective and all the history being reacted made me cry. i cant imagine all the pain anne, her family, and everyone involved had to go thru

Não importa quantas vezes, sempre que eu ouvir a história de Anne a sensação vai ser a mesma. É simplesmente inaceitável tudo o que aconteceu com ela, com sua família e todos os milhões de judeus que morreram no Holocausto, e pensar que ainda existe gente que apoia esse tipo de coisa é surreal. Eu sinto muito por todas as pessoas que tiveram que passar por isso.
