She linked an interview with the Kite Trust. Now there is speculation about her comments that she just wanted to deflect criticism. I just think they misunderstood her when she said that hormone blockers were given too late. I think what she meant was that we have no reliable data to distinguish if the hormones or just time passing resolved in some cases the psychological distress that some of transpeople felt.

One of my favourite whinges is that "such and such isn't included" and it turns out that it is one of the organisations that, when asked, failed to contribute to the Cass Review.

Really interesting. Thanks for this analysis, although the implications are so disheartening. Thank goodness for the Cass Review.

Your confusion is what happens when people with no training and no experience try to explain complex concepts. Can you imagine her trying to explain what a Planck second is? There is medical consensus that: 1. Gender identity is a mental trait independent of biological sex. 2. Gender dysphoria is real and requires treatment. What that treatment is depends on the needs of the patient. 3. Gender affirming care starts with therapy accepting where the patient is in life - not as a diagnosis, but as a safe space to discuss taboo topics. 3. The terms "man" and "woman" define common behaviors and experiences by the majority of the population. A "social construct" is a shared idea held by a society.

On the other hand there's a 12-year-old schoolboy how has been the attention of antiterrorist police and reffered to Prevent (anti radicalisation agency) for saying there, are only two genders. He had a National Trust toy cross bow that fires foam arrows so I can obviously see, why he's concidered a threat.

@@grahamfinlayson-fife73 I mean over the past 80 years doctors have subjected trans people to nearly ever medication and form of treatment (e.g. electroshock therapy). They recorded the results. Nothing had any affect on gender dysphoria until doctors started listening to trans people.

Trans rights IS humam rights (just as anyone else). There are powers in the world that see them as subhuman and support public executions, forced registration, abuse and prison sentences for not following the norm.

OK, I took the OP to mean that, in terms of attractiveness, people who have medically transitioned are a minority taste. Most people are attracted to natural men or women or both.

I really enjoy Maria’s work but I differ a bit regarding the reasons behind this ideology. When I learned about the 4 stages of ideological subversion by Yuri Bezmenov and saw the connection between trans ideology tactics (along with out areas like DEI, etc) and readings from Marx and Foucault, it seems like this is a push for cultural Marxism with a facade of’ inclusivity, diversity and kindness’. A good video to watch is, “The Forgotten Marxists of the 60’s”. Does anyone have similar thoughts around this?

Well, that’s not a SCIENTIFIC consensus. It might be a social consensus in some circles, but it isn’t scientific.

However, i must say, as an entrepreneur myself and lacking the luxury of time, i don’t have time to watch 30 minutes of videos. Even if they come twice per month. A dentist conducted a study on gum cancer. A third of his team doesn't believe gums can become cancerous. They show clearly that brushing your teeth doesn't stop the cancer and recommend brushes be outlawed for people with cancer. Would you trust such a study?
