They always say, "Buy the worst house in the best street." This is exactly what we've done, we bought an old abandoned cottage that sits in about an acre of land. Transforming our newly purchase renovation project, starting with clearing the land, levelling off an area to site our static caravan and temporary home while we renovate the cottage. It's my first time hiring of a large 6 tonne excavator/digger to help remove an old workshop, remove some large trees and clear the land, levelling off an area to lay some crushed concrete for a base.
