Have the same forester - those lights happen every time I change my oil. I usually disconnect the air sensor from the airbox, than disconnect the negative from the battery for a little, plug negative back again and than plug the sensor back. Usually, it works for me. Good luck!

This was super cool to see! One man for everything it's impressive man. Got rid of my bugeye, traded in for a brz, now driving an S2000, looking for a Forester now as a daily. Can't get away from the Subaru rumble :)

2004-2007 Subaru Forester generation will forever be the best version of Subaru of all time imo.

On Subaru foresters and Imprezas from 2005-2008 there is a parking brake switch on the top side of the steering wheel. That may be the reason your rear lights stay on with the keys out of ignition!!!

nah, i think he created a short with the pressure washer in the engine bay. I have a forester myself with the same ej20 motor, used a pressure washer and my tail lights stay off completely when the head lights are on. instant regret.

One of the biggest causes of this issue is a short in the trailer hitch cables. They have a tendency to short out On literally all models at least up to the 2008 and when they do short out, the tail lights will come on and stay on. The two main fixes are trace all the hitch cable lines looking for the short or just remove the hitch harness all together. If you don't plan on towing anything, it won't matter much.

Check your ABS fuse in the engine bay, should have sorted the ABS and Handbrake lights issue

To turn of the parking lights when the ignition is off, there’s a button right above the steering wheel. It takes the hustle out of all flipping lights and ignition on and off.

For off road you’d want to raise it not lower, these guys seem more into on road ride quality and looks, I appreciate both for the right vehicle, this should have been raised imo get rid of the HKS, get a decent off road pipe on they’re still bigger than stock for decent sound but that thing is way to big. Remember he wants to flip it, but a cool offroad build say an Overland build lost cost option and then giveaway would have been cool and raised some cash, Jmo though.

pretty sure the lights are due to a fuel line. my friend had an 05 outback and those 3 lights came on all at once and he found out it was due to a failing fuel line. got it replaced and the codes all cleared

The brake light is on because the rubber under the dash is worn out. Look along the brake pedal and glue a piece of rubber back on.

When he’s shaved he looks like a buff Matt Maran.

So what was done? Changed wheels, suspension, and an exhaust? Looks the same to me.

Hey man check the wheel speed sensors, mine did the same thing with the brake and ABS lights and one of my sensors were bad

Did you check the abs/tcs fuse? I know if my genny throws all 3 that’s the cause.

Most of the time it'll be the brake booster being stick or need adjustment you got lucky since it was a easy fix....
