I was so sad when dinobot died I knew he was going to but I didnt look forward to it and then the episode came... and animated prowl was so emotional for jazz the autobots and us transformers fans all of the deaths in this edit were so sad.

The one that hit me the hardest was Vector Prime... he had made friends, to humans and transformers, forged bonds, and would always fight to keep evil from winning... and rather than selfishly stay to be with his friends when all hope seemed lost, he gave up his life so time and those he cared for will live on.

I will never forget the mortified look on Prowl’s face as he was killed by Scavenger. The shock of Optimus Prime dying as he uttered his final words. The sacrifice Prowl gave in animated shook me, I cried seeing him smile one last time, seeing Jazz carry him. The Autobot cause is one worth fighting for, and even dying for.

Here's a fun fact about the behind the scenes of best wars. During the part where Dinobot died the VAs were having a hard time not laughing. It was because Dinobot was basically quoting Shakespeare (more specifically I believe he quoting Hamlet) and the VAs thought it was a rather silly last words of someone.

I haven't cried that often really ever in my life and unfortunately, Transformers has been the reason for a few of those times (G1 Optimus, BW Dinobot, Armada Starscream, and Animated Prowl). Optimus Prime's death in TFP just gave me huge chills because I'd watched the first episode RID 2015 before Predacons Rising so I kinda knew he was coming back. The one that hit the hardest for me was Soundwave's death in Cyberverse Season4 because I'd been watching Season 4 since elementary and it was just a great character arc.

Starscream in Armada hit like a mf all he wanted was Megatron to acknowledge him he died not to kill unicron but to show megatron he couldn't kill him alone unless with the autobots he went out like a G even his speech made me cry

cliffjumpers death tfp made me cry as a kid and ironhide and ratchet bayverse id also put in cyververse soundwave mtmte skids trailbreaker and rewind beast wars depth charge and beast machines rhinox/ tankor dispite his villanious turn

The saddest part about Prowl’d death was that before he died, he smiled, looking at Jazz as if he’s saying “it’s ok my friend. It’s ok…”

I think Armada was just PEAK TRANSFORMERS!❤ ESPECIALLY with the dramatic and beautiful music in that show. I cried when optimus died while holding my optimus action figure, i shed a tear by dinobot's death and i strongly cried over star scream because of the EXELLENT Voice actors ❤😢. But every death after that just wasn't strong enoth anymore to make me cry.

I cried so hard when Dinobot died in Beast Wars as a kid, such a noble selfless sacrifice

Ok I know bumblebee in transformers prime didn't die fully, but when mega and prime was fighting and bee tried to give prime the sword but ended up getting hit , I swear I cried my eyes out but when he revived I was cool

Vector prime was a sad death to me.

They died heros truly are the greatest in transformer.

Metroplexs death will always hit hard he sacrificed himself to save his friends and he will never know if his sacrifice saved them

Soundwave in TFP was very sad too, he was put in a dimension he can never leave, alone, unable to talk to anyone, a spirit, pretty much he can see and hear other people but they cannot, all he did was try to bring back his planet by helping his leader, without retaliation, what did he get in return? There is like two versions of Starscream that didn’t deserve to die his Armada incarnation and Shattered Glass Starscream like they both were the most heroic version of Starscream yet they met a tragic end. One died hoping to save his race, the other died hoping to save his friend.
