Ratchet is the saddest compared to Ironhide imo Ironhide made me angry and it was a twist, Ratchet’s confusion and fear and his loyalty to Optimus with the promise of helping humans making him shoot only at the last moment is what got me. The way he went out was tragic. Ironhide was still sad but it was more shocking and honestly it was quicker. Ratchet was chipped away piece by piece and it was horrible to watch 😢

Ratchet's Death was the most gruesome and made grown men cry, while in Ironhide's case Sentinel pulled a Shepherd tying loose ends kill.

I agree with your choices with putting Ironhide and Ratchet at the top especially Ratchet considering what happened in Age of Extinction with everyone just turning against the Autobots

TF VEGE: *gives the saddest death to Starscream* He was a good character. Over time, he slowly gained the traits of the G1 counterpart. Wished they kept his 2007 traits, being a foe to be reckoned with, and adding the cybertronian tattoos in the first movie to look menacing

For me, Optimus death was saddest. I thought he was going to win the Forest battle by himself, but i was truly shovked that Optimus died and didn't win. I was like WHAT?!?! NOOO!!!!

Tbf, it was a 3v1 *whilst* he was trying to protect Sam. In a 3v1 with nothing to protect, he would've destroyed both the helicopter (forgot his name) and Starscream at the very least and he would've inflicted severe damage to Megatron. Megatron was right in calling him weak, because protecting something prevents him from going all-out.

Ironhides death left me in shock, but i will never forget ratchets' death, i remember sitting at home watching it on the tv for the first kinda hard to see at first but when i saw the medical truck and heard Ratchets voice my heart sunk and when they killed him i cyryed

Honestly Cliffjumper’s death wasn’t really that sad considering we only saw him for 3 seconds but it does make me angry that they wasted him like that

I felt sorry for Ratchet, he must have felt hurt at seeing the ones he cared for want to kill him. And sentinel killing Ironhide was transformers ultimate betrayal scene.

back when i was a child i cry about optimus prime death. but now day i will say ratchet, is the most saddest death i ever seen. he wasn't trying to hurt anyone he was trying to scared them away, but failed. i will going to miss him : (

Honestly the 3 saddest deaths in my opinion, que, Ironhide, and ratchet. Ratchet and Que’s deaths were just old men begging for their lives, except ratchet probably suffered the most pain. Ironhide’s death, if you look closely, you can see that he had to stare at his body turn to dust, and it was just sad in general. Starscream on the other hand, I wouldn’t call his death “sad.” I mean when I saw it I thought to myself,” WOW, okay, he’s dead as fuck.” Yeah he was a cool character in G1, but just talking about the bayverse, he didn’t really do much, I don’t think he killed a single cybertronian the whole time he was alive(while we saw him) it wasn’t sad for me.

Starscream wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, but at least he did his job (and remained loyal)

I feel bad for the death of Ironhide and ratchet. I just couldn’t believe when I saw them die especially Ironhide, but there’s sparks will live on. And I also couldn’t believe on the way that humans betrayed the Autobots, especially when they helped lockdown to kill ratchet.

You know out of all the TF movie villains lockdown and sentinel prime where the ones were I generally got so hyped for when they died

I was crying so bad when Ironhide, Ratchet and my boy Jazz died

Wheeljacks was so sad he was so helpless couldn’t do anything and Ironhide stabbed in the back and ratchet couldn’t do anything but run and then lead foot didn’t even fight back😢

I couldn't believe they actually killed Ratchet in the movies. I grew up watching different animated shows. Ratchet was almost always a lead character. It made this worse. Not only did they kill him off, but the writers gave him an absolutely heartbreaking and horrific death.

When I saw this in the theater, when Ironhide died everyone went “Awww….!”

And this is why fans want a Transformers movie without humans. Humans are easily corrupted.

He was trying to negotiate with the deception’s to even go as far as saying alright we are prisoners let’s talk it out. 2: Ratchet: He was confused as to why his once allies turned on him and he wouldn’t give up his friend’s location. 3 ironhide. He should be number one and yeah it was unexpected and his was pretty sad but emotionally Wheeljack and ratchets are sadder than Ironhie in my opinion. 4. Jetfire: He sacrificed himself to help Optimus save the humans and earth. 5: Jazz: His wasn’t as sad. For me it was just a damn. ( This is my top 5 for the saddest deaths. All in order to my opinion )

Ironhide being my favorite and based on how he died in the moment wasn’t sad for me but rather infuriating and rachet being another close favorite mad me sad as he was helpless while staying loyal. Sometimes I wonder how bay decides who and how to kill these characters out of all of them

Jazz was the first heartbreak for all of us.

The only unfortunate death is Iron Hide, that dude deserved a ton more. He was the big bad on the Autobots aside from Optimus Prime. The rest I do not really care much, I wish Sound Wave, Shock Wave, Starscream and Lockdown got more strong battles instead of pathetic death scenes. TF2007 Starscream is legendary in terms of power along with Blackout they nerfed them all because Hasbro probably whined how they were super powerful. Shame.

The scene with Sentinels betrayal would have been more impactful if it showed the Twins deaths as well. I can't imagine fans reactions.
