Am I the only one who had a few tears… loved seeing transformers with my dad growing up and the games etc.. stratosphere was a pleasure to see on the big screen from TF3 game. Absolutely loved seeing bee mirage defiantly was a great comic relief absolutely loved Pete’s character

It’s actually a good idea to replace the military with G.I joe in these movies I think. In the Bay movies the military were to romanticised and took up too much of the runtime so this could be a great change and benefit them in the long run

Frankly, Lennox and Epps were my favorite human characters in the entire franchise. Sure, Bay loves to fetishize the military, but I thought Duhamel and Gibson brought so much to the roles to help make the human-focused parts of the narrative actually compelling.

only downside to GIJoe is that their community isnt in a gr8 spot and i dont remember the last time i talked to a GIjoe fan. Like ive seen vids where ppl praise the Maximals prior to Rise of the Beast announcements but ive literally never seen any GIJoe content even when they were making movies and i avidly watched them all. Ppl unironically know snakeeyes better from Fortnite then his own franchise

The only thing is they really should establish a proper G.I. Joe franchise before doing a crossover though I guess they’re banking on the popularity of both brands being featured as part of a crossover event beforehand will help jumpstart the direction they want that franchise to take. It was a bit of a wild reveal and I do worry if trying to establish so many elements in a single movie will create an over-bloated experience, G.I. Joe hasn’t had the greatest luck with live action so far…

Peruvian here! 9:35 The parade is one of our biggest festivals, the Inti Raymi, the ceremony of the Winter Soltice and the Sun God Inti, which in itself is a celebration of our mythologies. Cheetahs are not a thing in Peru, and based on the markings, the statue is a jaguar, most likely the Jaguar of Light. The rhino-like creature reminds me of many chimera monsters in Inca mythology. And that's no ape in the back; it's a statue of one of the Sapa Incas (emperors), probably Manqu Qhapaq, the first one. Emperors being paraded is a common thing in indigenous Peruvian festivals. It would be funny if the Inti Raymi, in universe, was meant to relate to the transformers, but more than anything, I think the festival is just beautiful and of great importance to Peruvians, thus its inclusion in the film

@angelobronte6029 No, you can be any age, and a movie can put you in your feelings. The emotions in the scenes, the soundtrack, the delivery. All those can play a part in how you feel during a movie. If done well, the audience can feel multiple emotions throughout the movie. Also, I just really like transformers. I grew up with it always watching and talking about it with my dad.

Mirage showing he could change into other cars was a great throwback... First as the Lambo Countach (Sunstreaker/Sideswipe) and then into an IndyCar! (his true G1 vehicle!)

Noah’s exosuit sort of reminds me of the one used in that chase scene in the first G.I. Joe movie.

Mirage also became his iconic f1 car when he was telling Noah he could sell him

I had goosebumps the entire time in the final fight scene, and then when Noah became a autobot, was insane!!

When "Mama said knock you out" started playing over Bumblebee was my favorite scene.

The emblems we clearly see on Scourge when adding Apelink are: Predacon, Autobot Elite Guard(Animated), Decepticon, and Wrecker, a recent addition from the "Wreck and Rule" pulse sets.

I really liked this movie. Transformers franchise looks like its going in a good direction.

I love how they also left in other easter eggs for hardcore fans like both the Wrecker and the Elite Guard autobot symbols on Scourges arm. They also put another reference to Ultra Magnus' white and blue truck mode when Mirage transforms into a dumpster trunk.

There’s also the obvious reference to Jazz when Noah finds Mirage. The Digable Planets’ lyric “I’m jazz like that” plays right as he’s in the Porsche

My biggest gripe that I have after seeing the movie is...if the maximals are from the future and used the transwarp key to get to "past earth", then how did the Terrorcons get to the past? Primal speaks of Prime as if he was a legend, and the Autobots didn't know of the Maximals so it stands to believe they aren't of the same era.

It's a trippy storyline. After watching "The War for Cybertron" series, it explains the most of it, but you're right that the Terrorcons in the past is a big plot hole.

The maximals were the ones from the future. Terrorcons are actually a sub group of decepticons (like predacons) which explains why they didnt need to time travel and how he had a predacon emblem.

So where are the easter eggs? When Primal says "no matter the cost"? When both OP say "till all are one"? When mirage transforms into his G1 accurate desing? Wen primal says "maximise" to cheetor and rinox? The reference to Rattrap? The 2007 bay films soundtrack at the end?... And many more that and dont remember rn but c'mon...

The jet at the end in the G.I., Joe base was the same spaceship that scourge came down on in the beginning of the movie

My emotions in theater like jeez!! I loved this movie. Especially that battle. The way Optimus killed Scourge was sooo cold!!

The crossover I truly wanna see: jurassic world T-Rex Megatron being the big bad, and during the final battle, optimus prime sacrifices himself (as he always does) by using his spark to jump start the Torreto muscle car, using his last word to tell Dom,"it's for family". Then, Dom drives his muscle car straight toward T-Rex Megatron and destroy the decepticons once and for all with a shot gun loaded with the power of family. That movie beats all avengers and avatar in the box office, no doubt

John Noble did great job as Unicron in Transformers Transformers Prime

Another little detail was that when Elena was doing some research, there was an article written by a Takara and Tomy, named after the original creators of Transformers toys

Yeah I was sad about that but I'm sure we'll get a toy and see what shoulda been.

Its kinda nice that that humans r integrated to this story much better than previous films. Albeit it is kinda a Hobbit strategy, it allows both stories to remain relevant while we still follow Thorin (ik the books differ and we dont actually follow thorin, but im referring to the movies)

unmasked Scourge kinda looked like Beast Machines Rattrap And i loved it when Primal said " MAXIMALS MAXIMIIIZE !!! "

The airazor statue was a forshadow of airrazors death

it was not good lol. I was so hopeful but once again it was bayverse fied and full of bad writing and bots existing just to be there.

I've never felt this hyped after watching ROTB!

Loved this movie, just wish we had more screen time/origin story for the maximals. Only Optimus Primal and Air Razor had lines, Cheetor and Rhinok didnt say much.. Other than that, I genuinely enjoyed the rest of the film and look forward to the cinematic universe with GI Joe.

Can't wait to see it tomorrow. Still I kinda wish that we got a live action smokescreen from transformers prime in this movie.

This movie was a fun watch, I just had to turn off my brain otherwise I would tear it apart.

Got dragged into watching it. 1st Transformers movie I've seen in forever so I had exceedingly low expectations. It was entertaining, funny and held my attention. That's probably the best compliment I can pay to any given mindless summer spectacle blockbuster.

When I saw the real hero award thing I thought that was a call back to Shia in Dark of the Moon saying that he has a “hero award” from the President and I thought they were introducing NEST from the bay verse movies. Literally yelled in surprise when the GI Joe card was revealed

Seeing snake eyes slice up the human size transformers would be dope af

It was 🔥 loved Ramos and Fishback. Davidson was hilarious. The kid actor was good. Great story. Everything was so damn good.

In the cartoon they did. The Maximals and certain Predacons also made it back at the end of Beast Wars and Beast Machines (basically a Season 4 & 5 for Beast Wars) took place entirely ON Cybertron (fittingly, since it was the end of the G1 reality/timeline).

I didn’t know how I felt about tossing the Joes into the mix at first, but that was a waning moment because I was on board immediately after giving it some thought. It’s not that crazy when you think about it, but even if it was, I’m all in. Why the hell not? Who says Hasbro can’t have their own universe? Throw some MMPR into the batch as well, let’s have fun with this lol

I can actually say that while every movie isn’t Perfect the Way Transformers captured, Megatron in 2007, The 3rd act in ROTF, Optimus in 3, Dinobots in 4, Bumblebee in 5 and Bumblebee the movie, and now the Maximals I littlerally can’t think of ways they could have made those better and they each get me hyped every time

I was upset the Porsche wasn't Jazz. He was my first Transformer, and an OG!

when noah was fighting with bumblebee it reminded me of the g1 movie with bumblebee and spike

THat's one of the paths being explored in the tabletop game. I doubt seriously that they'd have all three licenses built on the same base system if they didn't have something under there.

The ship in the G.I. JOE base looks like one that Scourge used at the beginning of the movie. Maybe they are trying to use it for reverse technology implementation

If we don't get a endgame style final fight with the transformers my little pony the Joe's and power rangers imma be mad 😂

I don’t know if anyone else noticed this, but it seems like the film used the same plot elements, from the Ultimate Doom G1 episodes, as the Dark of the Moon did. Specifically the space bridge being used to bring cybertron/unicron to earth; with a tiny bit of beast wars transwarp tech to connect them all.

Something that I noticed was that they used the original Unicron theme from The Transformers The Movie when Scourge was talking to Unicron with the full key

This movie was amazing wow

I think my major complaint about this movie is that they ACED Wheeljack in the last film. The Wheeljack we got in this movie is like a completely different character. Plus Stratosphere?? I think it would have been a cool nod to the G1 fans to get a Skyfire/Jetfire in here. Like a serious one. Not the joke that we got in Revenge of the Fallen.
