Transform Your Images - Game Changer Forest Landscape Photography
I am finally back filming after a short break moving house. Yes that’s right, my 4th move in 12 months. I plan to stay settled where I currently am and have lots of exciting photography plans for 2022! I have really enjoyed getting up for sunrise this weekend and heading to the local forest for a sunrise photoshoot. During this video I use some great new filters which I have been sent by NISI, they are the sponsor of this video. Their true colour polariser has really improved the quality of the images in this video and I could kick myself for not getting one sooner! Especially with forest photography, it’s something I will now be using as part of my shooting routine. During the video I also take photos of similar compositions and explain how to keep your work varied when shooting the same subject. I hope you enjoy this weeks video, look forward to seeing you at the next.
Sponser of this video is NISI, the true colour polariser used is here:

Ik volg je nu een geruime tijd op KZread. Ik vindt je een geweldige fotograaf, je maakt mooie composities . Zelf ben ik ook een landschapsfotograaf, en werk ook met nisi, v7 een geweldig systeem en betaalbaar. Bij het stellen van je filter zit aan de buitenzijde een klein stel wiel , zodat je wat preciezer kunt werken . Heb jij ook de ND filters en grijsverloopfilter er bij ? Werkt echt fijn . Groeten van uit Nijmegen Holland Alfredbekerfotografie

So pleased to hear you're finding happiness and stability after your recent move. Spirituality means different things to different people but I think the process of creating anything, photographs, music, poetry, sculpture requires an empathy for the subject or material..call this love or passion, I think it's a form of spirituality. Nothing I can add to your photography, you're on your own journey but I really enjoy how you share that with the photographic community. Look forward to your coastal video 🙏🏻

Thank you Suzannah for bringing this one to us. I have been using the Nisi filter system since they first became available here in Australia. I run the same as you have here. Just a couple of points to tell others. This CP filter like all others works best when the sun is at an angle of 90 deg to where you are standing. There is a very simple way of finding this out. Hold your right hand like you are pretending to shoot a gun to where you can either see the sun or the brightest part of the sky. Then turn your hand to the left, that’s the best position to stand when using a CPL filter. That is what I tell the participants that attend my photography workshops here in Australia. Also when attaching the CPL attach it to the round holder then screw them both on together,it makes it so much easier and safer from an accidental drop. Very nicely constructed images as well in this one. Take care Sniper Photography

Hey Suzannah! I came across ur channel last week and really enjoying your content and laid back fun approach... Looking forward to watching how it develops and the mindfulness approach... photography is defo my recharge after a busy life with family and work. Those Nisi filters look good... I use lee ones which have never let me down although they generally have a very slight blue cast. In regard to those trees you where photographing... they are beech trees... they keep their leaves when small to protect the new buds from grazing dear until the tree grows high enough. The brown leaves are not nice so it discourages the dear from eating them or the new buds in the spring.

Here where I am in the Midwest of the US we have several species of cedars and a couple species of juniper and several species of oaks some of which hold on to their leaves throughout the winter and the juniper have a lot of juniper berries on them throughout the fall and early winter that the birds use as a food source. sometimes part of the juniper will turn a reddish brown color which makes an interesting look when combined with the berries that look like tiny blueberries. I'm curious to know if you feed the birds around your home? I'm building a third feeder for the birds and I have a feeding station under construction for the squirrels. now if I can find a way to get the deer to stop sampling the bird food from the feeders in the backyard...deer feeder maybe 🤔? 🤣

be interested to see what spiritual content you do post ? agree very much with you that unless you are understand you are part of nature and are one with nature your seeing and this your photography of it will not evolve or reach its potential, there are worst things in the world than practicing a practice that encourages a deep appreciation of nature , buddhist and taoism are to prominent examples of this, carl Jung was one of many western philosophers who wrote extensively on man’s relationships with nature .. it is far from folly to suggest we are need deepen our understanding.. reading topics around contemplative photography is worth while and looking and reading the works or minor white people also might find interesting as he was one of the more open western spiritual highly successful photographers ..
