legit! whens part 4 out! I take mixing and mastering and I also take sound design at dubspot! Great classes I recomend! Im actually pretty experienced but those classes still help me tremendously due to the fact software is an INSANITY!

Because I am using a 17" Macbook Pro. You might have a smaller screen so you might have to hide certain things from your Traktor Layout (which is what this video is all about) or change the screen resolution. 4 Decks takes up a lot of screen real estate. You can either hide decks C&D or make Decks C&D Small or Micro to save screen space. You can also hide things like the preview player, global section, and crossfader to make more space for the browser and playlists.

Check your Audio settings in preferences - audio setup. Set the sample rate to 44100 and latency should be 512. Also make sure your on the latest Audio drivers for whatever sound card your using, and make sure your on the latest version of Traktor. If your still experiencing audio problems change the latency to 1024. Another thing that cause CPU issues is key lock (especially in the remix decks) so turn that off if your not using it.

If you watch the video closely it will show you how to take things out of your screen layout. Disabling things like Deck C & D and the Global Section, or making the decks Essential or even small will free up real estate for the tracks. Also I talk about how to change the font and spacing in the browser.

Me too. I want to change the playmarker position, but at "miscellaneous" in decks layout, there is no such option

Hi Sir, was it works in Traktor S4 MK4? I have a hard time in enabling tge platter of mine.

You should have all these options (for the most part) if your on Traktor Pro 2.

hello man.. when i connect my amplifier with the s4 and everything it's on, i hit play and the light is on but it's not playing the track unless i change it to my laptop speakers... what i have to make in the preferences to make this thing work... i have this problem for many days help pls

The whistling / beeping sound is the timecode. Make sure you don't have anything set to "thru" mode. Somehow your timecode audio is getting routed to the channel. Check your input and output settings. If you can't get it fixed, call Native Instruments tech support at 323-467-2693

Hey Endo I was wondering what I can do about these problems I recently been having. Running 2.4 ghz intel core 2 Duo. 4gb 1067 Mhz DDR3. M/b pro. I've been using maschine as a midi controller but have been experiencing drop outs that i wouldn't have when just using cd's w/time codes. Also I was playing at a bar the other day and both tracks that I was playing sounded distorted first i thought it was the monitors but I could also hear the distortion in the headphones through the mixer as well.

You need to calibrate your jog wheels. You might as well calibrate the whole controller. Just go to Preferences - Traktor Kontrol S4

Can someone please answer this question for me, it's very important :( At 3:18, can you select Platter when you are NOT using time code like you were using just a controller to control traktor pro and NOT traktor scratch pro? I'm using a controller but I really need visual feedback of a rotating platter since my controller gives no feedback on rotations. Thank you!

Where's part 4 already?

currently you can only get a rotating platter if you're using timecode. It won't show you a rotating platter in the scope window if you're using a controller.

I want to give reference to all the people who still haven’t use tractor software or tractor dj equipment and planning to buy them in the future My reference to you is DO NOT BUY TRACTOR DJ SOFWARE OR CONTROLER. 1. customer support is poor, example: they don’t know answer, they will hang up on you But first good luck of finding their contact phone number 2. Tractor DJ software audio has pop,,click, audio freeze, audio cut out, audio slowdown and has glitchy sound. 3.there is no solution to fixing all these problem and thinking about refund u can forget it because you won’t get a refund. There u go; SO DO NOT BUY TRACTOR SOFWARE I want to do this because I went through so many headaches with tractor software and problem is not solve and it will not be solved My equipment owned 1.tractor z2 2.tractor s4 mk2
