Did you say it doesn’t work as a stand-alone mixer? So if traktor crashes you’ve no backup. How disappointing!

Just got the S4 MK3 yesterday. Amazing. I'm DJing with Traktor since the first version of both software and S4. But the MK3 with the software is awesome. And the S4 is now capable for stand alone use, yess.
I've searched the preferences countless times looking for the option to change the behaviour of browser knob as mentioned but am unable to see it
When he said the mixer does not work stand alone i turned of the review. Showstopper indeed.

So am I getting this right? This can't be standalone? At all? I can't plug a usb in with a set that I've done on realtor? I have to have a laptop connected even when only using traktor?
Still no dedicated maschine deck...Or an easy way to stream maschine into a channel. Either it's realy hard to implement, or they haven't got enough programmers, i don't get it because that would bring alot of extra $$$ into their pocket. But hey look a new expansion pack pfft...
