Video: A busy evening rush hour of spotting at Slough, a place I've wanted to spot at for a while but never got the chance until this date. Plenty of 125mph HST action with lots of horn tones, including one incredibly loud one that nearly knocked the camera out of my hand. The original aim was to try and get on a new GWR Class 387 between Paddington and Hayes & Harlington, but apparently there was a fault outside the Hitachi North Pole depot so none could operate on this day, so instead I came to Slough.
This was all done freehand as it was rush hour and the station manager was a bit prickish about the use of tripods as most are, other than that the station staff were very friendly.
TRAINS INCLUDED: Great Western Railway Class 43 HSTs & Class 165 + 166 Networker/Thames Turbos & Class 180 Adelantes, Aggregate Industries Class 59 and a Ex-EWS DB Schenker Class 66.
