Splash exudes a quiet dignity in this video, true -- but whence I sit, at least, "mellow" is an adjective that fits Simba far better, even where the tabby boy's curiosity is piqued. That said, Splash is slowly, irresistibly growing into his own purrsonal charisma (another legacy from Daddy Boo, purrhaps), and has undeniable presence when he cares to face the camera on his own exacting terms.

Now you have plenty of time to get them to use it! Samuel has benefited from the quarantine by getting to play STRING! 3x a day.

I'm glad that Sammy is enjoying his extended time (including extended playtimes) with you, Ash -- but at least your kitteh already played the game that you have enhanced here; it's unclear to me whether any kitteh who is not a Bengal will ever become interested in such a glorified, oversized rodent wheel...and thus far the Indoor Four seem universally to view it as but a curious but ultimately uninteresting piece of furniture.

I like how they all took turns....like watching a talent show.

I remember a time when we hardly saw Flashy Splashy on camera. Now he appears all over the Lucky Ferals kingdom cute as ever.

Splash: "Oh, you've unearthed this curious artifact again, dear human...[inspects wheel] Yes, it is what I thought it was...[sits gracefully down beside the wheel] No, I think not." 😉😿 [enter laser pointer; Splash continues] "Okay, the moving red dot...[watches for a bit, then turns away] No, you'll have to do better than that to get me to play -- but I'll be glad to sit here and keep you company for a while. [inspects red dot moving within wheel, then notices Stella entering and exits, stage right] Must go...hello, Mother dear; see you later."

One of my cats would LOVE a wheel like that. They're just soooo expensive.

The wheel is back! Maybe tape the wheel so it won’t move when they get on at first so they can get used to it slowly.

Maybe if there were dangling mobiles inside the wheel ? The laser is frustrating for them

This is going to take a lot of patience. Out of all your cats LF I can see Boo or Simba to give it a try first. Boo especially bc he wants to please you that is if he's in the right mood 😼

Simba and Stella nearly got on the wheel. I wonder who will be first.

I just got the cat wheel. They still haven't used it. I'm never getting rid of it anyways lol. I know they will eventually use it

i just wanna share a great tip. I made a tiny cup (for dry food) and put it at the end of a flat stick so that my food motivated cats basically take one or two steps and get a reward. (Also coz it hurts when they eat out of your hand.) Just keep moving the treat cup slightly out of their reach. Thats gonna get them moving!

For me its trying to learn programing for the cats its the wheel I don`t think its ever going to happen lol

There's a difference, Ian: I can teach you to program, but I'm deuced if I (or, frankly, any other mere human) can devise a way to teach a kitteh to do something that that kitteh hasn't already chosen to do. 😉😺
