Thanks! Video 2 will be up today :)
A note on flashing signal aspects: You have to assume that the sequence will be: Flashing Double Yellow, Flashing Single Yellow, Single Yellow with Feather, Red; until proven otherwise. If the signal beyond the junction is displaying an aspect other than red, then the junction signal will step up from single yellow to the appropriate aspect as you approach it. At 36:45 you pass the junction signal still displaying a single yellow, so you should be scrubbing off more speed as you expect to have to stop at the next signal, which is down the steep slope you warn about as you pass it. Fortunately the next signal is displaying a green, so you didn't end up with a SPAD - I think it's a bug with either with DTG's signal code or the route that causes the signal not to step up as it should, but it's better to slow down unnecessarily than to pass a signal at danger. ;) Otherwise a very good video as always. :)
I always wondered what the Javelin runs on when it ain't using the Overhead wires I thought it was some sort of Hybrid Train that it switches fuel source but now you answered my Question I didn't know they also use electrical tracks like the LU tubes. Great Video!

The third rail system is used a lot to the south of London (London - Brighton; London - Portsmouth; London - Hastings; Portsmouth - Littlehampton - Brighton - Hastings and more) and is definitely not only in use on the London Underground.
It's so surreal seeing my local station strood on a game kinda makes it look less of the shithole it actually is 😂😂 great video my man 💪💪
Don't know if you've already planned out the routes for your challenge but a Glasgow-Edinburgh via Carstairs is something I'd quite like to see :)

Not all is planned out yet, so I will take that into consideration.
Would this work without the Chatham mainline and just the Medway valley line and HS1
I'm watching this inside a class 395
I'm convinced you pre-set the signals, there's no way your eyesight is that amazing combined with those tiny signals with the pixelated graphics
@PTGRail
5 жыл бұрын
I set the scenario so I would encounter adverse signals, but didn't know what aspect each signal would display until I was actually driving. The picture quality in the video isn't as good as what can be seen on the screen in game! But as it happens I do also have very good eyesight ;)
What is the need for the triangle potinting upwards/downwards when you can just watch the speedometer to see if you're accelerating or decelarating?
What happened to the sounds on this train? On the previous 395 videos there are traction motor sounds in the cab, now there are none?
Gosh dis is so realistic STRATFORD IS ACTUALLY A PLACE!!!
Nice =)
There is a 4th part of st pancras: the lower platforms are used by Thameslink
Can i request a video where you take either the high speed or eurostar from St Pancras to Temple Mills depot via the single track viaduct at Stratford International. Thanks.

Hi Michael, one of the trademarks of this channel that sets it apart from others is the choice to not use the HUD. As a result of this, I won’t be uploading any videos in which the HUD is used.
Where have you gone it’s been over a year?
Hi there, may i know which addons you used, i know you mentioned at the start of your video but i couldn't find them. Thanks.

This uses the freeware merge of the London to Faversham, London to Chatham, and Medway Valley Line, on Steam Workshop as “London Victoria and St Pancras to Dover”.
Every time I drive the southeastern high speed the emergency brake keeps coming on and I can't start the train again. How do you stop this?
@j.a.g1291
4 жыл бұрын
TheTheblacklion do you hear an alarm noise just before this? If so, it’s the train safety device thing for these trains. Every minute or so when you don’t touch the controls the check goes off (the alarm you hear). Press enter on your num pad on the keyboard to reset this each time it goes off. If you are too slow and the emergency brakes do come on, to disengage it manually set the brake all the way to emergency end then once you manually move the brake lever again, the emergency brakes will be off. You must reset the driver safety device before you do this though. Hope this helps.
Where can I get this scenario
PTG where are the lights when your in your train why did you not turn on the lights inside the cab
How can I go about downloading this route?
Do you have class 465's sound pack for the class 395? Still a great video though. By the way the signal ( 17:40 ) before the signal at danger is a two aspect signal, so it can only show either a green or a red. The block ahead was clear, so it was green. So your 'pho' signal is infact supposed to be used on single line track. Lines like this must have at least three aspects signal. By the way does anyone know of the turbostar that looks like an electrostar and vice versa?

The core software has been upgraded to 64-bit, meaning that you can now utilise a lot more RAM and not suffer crash to desktop errors when reaching 4gb RAM usage as used to happen. It's actually a very big change to how the software works, and one for the better.
Hi! PTGRail your graphics are so smooth and lag free. Pleasure to watch. May I know your hardware settings for ts 19? As always brilliant driving.
Hi Pete! Great stream dude - the javelin is one of my favourite trains! Can I please ask what keyboard buttons you use to freeze the train and then pan the camera around the scenery whilst the train is paused? When I pause the game it gives me the main menu! Cheers !!
