Train Simulator - Route Learning: Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria (Class 802) // 1440p

Ойындар

In this episode of the route learning series, we take a look at the Chat Moss route available from Alan Thomson Simulation. We follow the journey of train 1P13, the 05:52 Transpennine Express service from Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle, travelling as far as Manchester Victoria. Stops along the way include Lea Green, Newton-le-Willows, and finally Manchester Victoria. The train for this journey is a Class 802/2, utilising the Armstrong Powerhouse enhancement pack.

    My dad drives for TPE. They’ve definitely got some of the best liveries. He drives the 185s. And I’m soon to start driving the 66s for GB. Currently shunting at Doncaster UpDecoy. Nice video!

    Interresting to see that the Huskinsson Memorial is correctly represented on the right hand side of the track at 26:24 in the video. The MP who promoted the Liverpool Manchester Railway and killed on the opening day by getting hit by Rocket. Nice video and description, thank you.

    Thank you for taking the time to do all these uploads. I do enjoy dabbling in train sim now and again and would love to be able to do a lot of there routes myself however the amount of money that needs to be spent on so many different dlc's just to be able to run certain scenarios is crazy. Thanks again for taking one for the team and sharing.

    And yet another video by you after months of nothing? You've released more over the last few weeks than you've done for a million years. I'm not complaining, I quite enjoy the stuff you've done and it's good to see you back on the case. Thanks, this is another very entertaining post.

    Thanks for another good video. Morpeth boards for reducing speed limits does seem to be somewhat arbitrary but, in real life, that's where route knowledge is important. Thanks again.

  • @PTGRail

    @PTGRail

    2 жыл бұрын

    If I remember rightly, Morpeth boards are generally placed where there's a speed reduction by 1/3 or greater - the rest is down to route knowledge!

    Another very good video, Peter; please keep them coming. You mentioned doing other Trans Pennine Express routes. You might be interested in the KZread channel of Don Coffey. A TPE driver himself, he has a lot of cab ride videos of routes, passenger and freight, in the norther half of England. He does a running commentary with words along the bottom of the screen about places and junctions etc that are passed. It might save you some research. I think it was in your first video back that you mentioned doing the full WCML from Glasgow to London. Another driver and friend of Don Coffee, Ben Elias, recently put up a video from Glasgow to Manchester Airport. It does not have as much commentary, but would take you as far as Preston.
