Train Flashes Through RR Crossing & Look What Happens Next! Brand New Gondola Cars, Loram Grinder!

Ойын-сауық

Fast CSX Train Approaches Railroad Crossing & Then As It Passes A Norfolk Southern Train Approaches In The Opposite Direction On The Other Track! Now That Was Cool! Loram Rail Grinder Chase To Trenton Ohio & CSX Train With High & Wide Load Up Front! All Kinds Of Live Action In Carlisle And Trenton, Ohio. 4 Trains with the maintenance of way equipment checking switches and railroad crossings. See my recent video of the Loram rail grinder in action. Includes tour of railroad bypass road.
One of my favourite railroad crossings. This is in Carlisle, Ohio right behind the township building and Carlisle Police Department. We see two fast CSX trains here and a Norfolk Southern train with a couple of hard working DPU locomotives that really get the train moving quickly.
This includes a chase of the Loram rail grinder from Hamilton Ohio to Trenton Ohio on the CSX Toledo Sub. This is the small train that gets the railroad crossings and switches after the long train passes first.
We see an open boxcar door on the NS train. It is headed westbound on the Dayton District. Included is a tour of the bypass road that goes under the Norfolk southern tracks. This is a two way road used by non railfans. Lol. Is it time yet for me to show another train going over that crossing and show how the bypass gets used? Leave a comment below. Don't miss the Live Action Pets and the slide show at the end.

As a Black woman, I LOVE trains! From ‘93-96 while attending ISU in Terre Haute, IN I lived four blocks from the nearest tracks. That sound at night was awesome especially when it was raining or snowing. I came across your channel while looking for the documentary on the Canadian Rockies trains. Thanks for this!❤

Yeah angel I’m the same way I grew up on the southern railroad in my little town of Pearl River Louisiana and I wasn’t but one block away from the tracks so every time a train would come I’d get on my bicycle and ride up to the tracks just to watch that try and go by And me too I love listening to a train at night when everything is still in they sound so good but you have a blessed weekend my friend

Clearly, the NS train saw the *JT Not Ready* signal, and the engineer, out of professional courtesy, brought his train to a full stop so you would not miss it and as a bonus you got to hear the sweet symphony of the lead powering up as the train gradually accelerated. Kudos to NS professionalism!

While CSX kicked things off with a priority Intermodal train the NS crew heard you were in the area and did not want to disappoint your filming and the viewers from not seeing a great variety of General Freight and they certainly didn't disappoint. Those metal cylinders on the center beam cars have appeared several times in an ancient and obscure Cleveland Industrial Park and are about the last customer left for NS. Couldn't go wrong with the rail grinder noisy as it is and then get one more General Freight on CSX. Perfect way to kick off the weekend

I worked on a crew following LORAM railgrinders around USA . It was a very memorable time seeing some cool and not so nice places. The crew working on the grinders work in some very harsh conditions. Many only last a few weeks or months b4 quitting. My job was following behind the grinder putting out fires that would start up after the grinder would move forward. I have a special respect for railroad workers as they live in a dangerous environment daily.

With all the steel cars then tanks, auto racks, and I've got to mention, 6 new gons totally untagged, this is one heck of a train. Never saw centre beams carrying pipe before either. Wow, what a train! I did expect a couple of pushers too, but, alas... Glad it stopped and waited so you could catch it JT.

That was a nice opening sequence of the CSX train and the Norfolk Southern trains in Carlisle, Ohio. What a great coincidence that the Norfolk Southern train stopped just short of the crossing while the CSX train was still passing the road crossing. The Norfolk Southern train waited a bit after the CSX train passed before it started to move. The two mid-train DPUs were working hard to move the Norfolk Southern train along. I enjoyed watching the small Loram rail grinder moving past the various locations where you were able to capture it.

Back in the steam days (1930's) my mother's uncle used to hitch rides. He'd stop by late, you could only see the whites of his eyes lol. Was covered in coal dust and soot.

Cool location Jawtooth! When i see those two lines it reminds me of going to the Ponderosa speedway in Junction City Ky. When i was a boy, somtimes id get to see a L&N coming through then catch a Southern too! It would be cool if the Southern heritage unit came through then the L&N heritage unit!👍

In Belgium we rarely see freight trains this long. Most lines are dedicated to passenger traffic also. When i studied in Leuven the local branch line had lots of tanker car traffic at night.

Those looked like aluminum billets! I transported windows out of a manufacturing plant, they feed the billets into an oven to melt them down and extrude, stretch. if you will , into window and door frames!

That "Route Rock" covered hopper @10:42 was a gem...incredible find, especially because the "CRIP" reporting marks are still intact!! That train's pair of DPU's @12:03 included an EMD SD70AC...something different! How about that covered hopper body chained to a special CSXT flatcar @19:23, with its trucks set aside?? Not your "everyday" load!!! 😊👍👍

Those tiny wires on that heavy holder were either pure Aluminum going to CanCo to make cans. Or they are bolts of Stainless Steel headed to be made into wire or chain. Extrude business is alive and well. In Lufkin Tx there is a two-lane highway (94), that flows under the now: UP line. The Town itself named itself and became the county capital by putting the first long time station manager who lived in and controlled the lines from a boxcar before a train station was built some years later.
