TRAIN DRIVER'S VIEW: City Centre to Nature (Stockholm to Kårsta)

In this Train Driver's View video we embark on a journey from central Stockholm northeast to Kårsta. This is on the Roslagsbanan narrow gauge railroad connecting the northeastern suburbs (and farmlands) of the swedish capital Stockholm to its city centre. This is with the ABB/AEG X10p EMU with a Vmax of 80 km/h.
Lots of parts of the track has been renovated between Täby Kyrkby and Kårsta and together with the stunning weather this makes for a really beautiful ride!

What a absolutely wonderful ride! Is that gauge 30" or 36" ? I would never have thought that someone would invest so much money in Narrow Gauge in 2022. Please, a ride in the other direction?? 😍

891 mm (2 ft 11+3⁄32 in) Swedish three foot en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roslagsbanan So, I guess that's 35.1" :)

This is Swedish 3-foot gauge, 891 mm or around 35 inches. It's the only narrow gauge railway still in active use in Sweden.

Can't really enjoy these videos because a lot of them are in 720 resolution so when you look at them there is a blurry picture. I have seen videos with a resolution of 1220 and there is no blurring at all. But still beautiful scenery.
