As a hawks fan they were sent by the league to sabotage great players carrer their selling out without winning
Trae Young is the problem. He needs to take away the outside noises whether it’s a good noise or a bad one. Just play the game the way it’s meant to be played. Don’t let fundamentals of basketball be lost because you’re trying to prove everyone wrong. You won’t ever win everyone. Even Michael Jordan as GOAT but it’s not an ultimate that’s what’s in everyone’s mind. Yeah he took things personally but that was in the realm of the basketball court. He never went away from the coaches but allowed them to draw up plays for the team and he delivered. It seems to me Trae needs a mentor who’s on the side to tell him how to play as a teammate not for a bag or to prove naysayers wrong. It’s an uphill battle and unnecessary one at that.
Agree 100%. It all goes back to the cheap owner who won't spend to get the players around Trae. FO is also garbage. Trae should ask for a trade.
I love Trae Young so much I feel he deserves more than what he getting with the Hawks

The Hawks record this season is 8-8 WITHOUT Trae Young - far better than it is WITH Trae Young. Conclusion - time to dump Trae Young who has never been a leader and is always the selfish star like Mike Vick when he was with the Falcons. Dump his salary and get whatever you can for him!!

Ya were are good. Nothing against Dlo he’s playing well, but the hawks issue is and has always been defense. A backcourt of Trae and Dlo sounds like an all time bad defensive backcourt.

I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING. I would do it in a heartbeat. I want trae to have a star big man partner to create the perfect one two punch surrounded with role players. It’s a huge risk, but at this point they need to do something to show trae they want to try.
