Also when tieing down, how much of a slant should the springs be at the edge? What are the general rules? I tried to find your email to send pictures of the chair I will be doing

Thanks for a great video, could I have a spot of advice please? My 94 year old Mother, has a sofa from about 1900. The top velvet surface is all OK, but the webbing across the bottom has weakened and is hanging down in places. I've bought replacement webbing, a webbing stretcher and tacks and am happy to replace the webbing but this will have to be done from the bottom, I'm not keen to remove the top covering. Have you any idea how I can fix the springs to the webbing from the bottom?! Many thanks - Chris
