how do i upholster an oval/round back arm chair (backrest cushion) with a needlepoint tapestry?

I want to replace the rubber webbing on several pieces of mid-century modern furniture, but the dish couch. I have utilizes loops at the end of the webbing, which is the intentioned by a wooden rod. What sort of clips or rivets would you use to make loops at the endof webbing. The chair we have would utilize the metal clips that slide in Otts that are pre-cut in the wood frame of the furniture so that seems like a pretty simple straightforward fix any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I'm having trouble deciphering your message. Usually I anchor webbing to wooden frames or the furniture frame itself.

Try your hand at stretching traditional jute webbing with these techniques.

question...was thinking of using webbing around a custom frame 75" x 30" for camper bed...would this support an individual laying down on this? Obviously there would be a mat that would go on top. Seems like if would help with comfort? Thanks

Yes, jute webbing can work in that application so long as the frame is strong enough. I usually use 1" thick hardwood. Thanks

I think it would be plenty strong, but it will sleep more like a cot. It won't stay flat enough to support a mattress. Best to you.

How can I install elastic webbing to the underside of a sofa as as I can’t remove the leather covering ?

Red stripe is stronger and good for seats. Black stripe is for backrest applications that aren't under so much stress. Best to you.
