Having looked at countless videos on how to do needlepoint on my new Ehrman tapestry, yours is PERFECTION. You explain everything beautifully and the way you zoom in and out is excellent. Great videos, well-made and easy to follow. Would love to see more on how to move around the canvas on a pattern with lots of small details and color changes. I struggle with how to do a few small stitches here and then a few more an inch or two away on the canvas. Thanks.

Lovely instructions out of the many I have watched. No one seems to address determining the right and wrong “side”of the fiber used. There is the smooth side and ruff side. It seems to make a difference in whether the canvas surface is smooth or fuzzzy. Your thoughts.

I see this post is is 2 years old I hope I can get some answers. I have cross stitched in the past and I'm now into doing miniatures and I was wondering what would work best for a miniature rug. I'm thinking the cross stitch floss but I like the needlepoint look how small can you go in needlepoint?

The way you end and started the second strand will sometimes disturb the look of the stitches in the front. If it’s a background, this may look bad.
