Should you go Investing or trading in the stock market?
There are different ways to approach the stock market. Some do day trading or some do long-term investing. In this video, I talk about the difference between both strategies to make money from stocks and which is better for you.
Let’s first understand what these two strategies are: Day Trading vs Long Term Investing.
Day trading also called as Intraday trading. This means when you buy and sell a share, a contract like futures, options derivatives bitcoins, etc. on the same day. A day trader does not intend to hold it for the long term and hence takes leverage and aims at gaining profit with the short-term fluctuations of the security that happens during the day.
Long term investing or Value Investors also invest in the same type of stocks through the stock market. However, the mindset is different. They focus on buying the company instead of buying just a stock. It’s because when you buy a stock, you become a co-owner of the organization. The primary reason they invest in a company is that they believe that the company is going to make good profits in the future and hence want to participate in its long-term success and compound their money and create sustainable wealth.
Some people call day trading a type of gambling, but I'd politely call it a zero-sum game.

I am following your channel from a long time. I am seeing this video for the second time. But before I had no knowledge regarding both trading and investing. I agree that investing will help in wealth creation but you have explained trading the wrong way. What you have told is gambling. With all due respect to you sir, I would like to say that Real Trading involves a lot of emotional, risk and trade management and buying of stocks are done on basis of the psychology of the market i.e. the people & Past analysis. Trading does not involve hope, It works on a system. Please tell me if I am right??

Bro your video is good but I want to know that I am doing short term buy and sell in stocks but I am trade in delivery and not taking any margins because of which I am able to save my capital amount and sell only when company will give return expected by me .....Is it good or not ..pls.reply

Trade with 1 lakh every day, make profit of 10k every day and invest that 10k, keep doing it. But u should have skill to make it 1.10 lakh everyday. Or atleast 1 lakh everyday. Never lose even your 1 rupee. Your money will not become 1.10 lakh by tomorrow no matter where u invest. But if u have skill to make 10k profit trading everyday and not waste that profit and invest it will be very much.

@@sushil2kashyap you can if u have skill, im not saying in all trades u will make profit. You do many trading throughout the day u. But at the end of the day u must have a profit even if its just Rs 1. I know many people who make profit everyday. Not on every trade. But definitely profit in a day.

@@sonupandey5955 compounding return works good only in investment with fundamentally strong stocks. U can see best example of compounding in Wipro....so much bonus and split. Suppose u have 20 shares of any stock and the stock gives split of 1:10. Now u will have 20*10= 200 shares of that stock. Now if there is 1 rupee increase in price of that stock, your portfolio will increase by 200 rupees. And so on

@@sonupandey5955 Bajaj finance is undoubtedly awesome stock but always remember the rule of Warren Buffett..."never keep all eggs in a single bucket". If u want to invest in NBFC, keep ur investment diversified in Bajaj finance, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC, Muthoot finance... Before investing such a big amount in a single stock, remember once Yes Bank was also a part of Nifty.

Investing and Trading are both good. It all depends on how you do it. It is best to buy Bluechips only and not go after penny stocks. One needs a diversified portfolio comprising of Gold, Silver, Bluechips ,also Bank fds and PPF.
