PRO TIP> New pickup / drop off strategy at LAX... Have them meet at the new economy parking lot, or drop folks off at the new economy parking lot. The shuttles are quick both ways and it's hassle free. We park there when flying out on shorter trips, there's also a tram being built there now.

I had the opportunity to drive a friend's stock power FD RX7 somewhere around 18 years ago. I still remember how different it was to drive than anything I had driven previously. You could feel how much less weight and resistant the rotary engine had over a standard ICE with pistons with how smooth it went through the revs. It's definitely a different driving experience unlike anything I have driven even up to this point.

I like the whole straight swap. I traded an 05 Toyota Camery straight for an 07 Honda Fit Sport. Also did a straight trade with a 2015 Toyota Highlander for a 2010 Toyota FJ cruiser. Even got title and tags covered on both and walked away spending nothing. Both at used car dealers.

Man who would have thought the 621 music would hit so hard? It probably sounds over dramatic but that was just better times. Pre Covid, Pre insane inflation of cost of living. I actually could afford car parts and dream about builds. Loved watching you boys back then living out the dream. Happy to have found you here.

Totally makes sense. While the FD is a gorgeous machine, the Ferrari is just another level.

This episode was quite emotional. From you selling the RX-7, to seeing the old 621 office. And can I just say how jealous I am that you've gotten to own 3 of the greatest JDM cars of all time! I guess the next thing you need to get is a Skyline GTR...right? 👀

The DT sound and seeing the old garage brought back the feels. Back when life was simpler, the internet was fun and I stayed up until 3am for videos sometimes.

That is a pretty unrepeatable CYM FD, gooooooosh man. The rollers look great though for your own memory of it tho, probably the best way to have a FD Only thing I'd change would be some streetporting for that c h o p but the noise is insane I hate to say it, searing hot take, I'd take the FD over the 360 but I completely get it on the other hand 👌

Something I have found true is that for you to really understand how important something is to you, you have to be willing to let the thing go. Once you’ve acknowledged letting it go even by just an understanding, you’ll end up learning more about it and love it all the more.

If you ever want to sell the GTI I’m all for it!! my best friend and I started our friendship at 18 over our 1992 Jetta’s in 1994. Still going strong to this day. I have 2 in the Garage both rally cars. It’s a real story and parts and pieces in our main car have been part of our friendship from the beginning!

Love buying cars from people like you! purchased 2 cars 5 months apart in Pheonix e36 M3 guy was terrible didnt meet up till after noon was trying to drive to seattle was dumb. Other was a e92 Supercharged M3 and guy was beyond awesome had a temp permit and everything ready early in the morning, so we could leave for the 20 hours asap.

Having said that, any seller’s remorse you might come to feel probably isn’t anything a nice shiny twin-turbo kit for the Ferrari couldn’t cure…! 😊
